Now you can learn how to run a tourney. Once you have four registered you can Close Registration. This is located on the Right Side. Click Close Registration. Click ... Return to Administer Tourney #________ Now you need to Start Tournament .. Click Start Tournament Click ... Return to Administer Tourney #________ To see the pairings for Round 1 ... Click Round 1 You will see Match #1 and Match #2. In the particular example shown Match #1 shows Pepsi vs burt and Match #2 shows Anton vs bent. What this means is that pepsi is actually competing against burt and Anton is competing against bent. In order for them to compete against each other they need to be paired with someone else. Therefore your pairings for round one would be Pepsi/Anton vs burt/bent. We always do pairings from top to bottom. Lets say they play their game. Pepsi and Anton win. In order to advance players to the next round you will need to advance them individually. Click Pepsi .. it now shows you have advanced Pepsi. To return to the pairings page click Adjust Round 1 Results. Now advance Anton by clicking his name. Repeat the action of Adjusting Round until you have advanced all players. In this case we only had the two. Once all players have advanced click Return to Administer Tourney#_______. Click the Round 2. It now shows Match #1 Pepsi vs Anton. You would now list Pepsi vs Anton with subs. Let's say they play their game. Anton and his sub beat Pepsi. Click Anton as winner. Since this was finals click Return to Administer Tourney#_______. The tourney is over you must now do all the final postings. Click Update T.D. Stats File. Double check the bracket to make sure you have posted the right winners. Looking at this bracket you can also see how the pairings were done. First Round Player (1) Pepsi was partners with Player (2) Anton. Player (4) burt was partners with Player (3) bent. Second Round Player (1) Pepsi was against Player (2) Anton. The winner of the Tourney was Player (2) Anton. You are positive you have posted tourney correctly Click Yes - Proceed to Update T.D. Stats. Click Return to Administer Tourney#_______. Click Update Player Tournament Records .. This shows you the wins and losses for the tourney. Click Return to Administer Tourney#_______. Process Entry Fees .. This will deduct the buxs from the players accounts. Click Return to Administer Tourney#_______. Award LadderBux .. Until you get to five tourneys nothing will be given. Once you have reached your sixth tourney you will use this page to let those that played and won how many buxs they won. Once you have posted in the lobby the buxs. Click Return to Administer Tourney#_______. Report Matches to Ladder .. This posts the actual wins and losses to the individual players ladder accounts. Click Return to Administer Tourney#_______. Close Out Tournament .. Closes the tourney. You can now Click Return to TD Center You are now back to the Td Administration Center. Make another tourney using the same instructions.
