On break, move cue ball at least 1 ball width on or behind the break line in a forward motion. 8 ball in on break is a re-rack. The only pockets that CAN be used are the top left, top middle, and top right...or... the bottom left, bottom middle, and bottom right. The TD will tell you know at closing which row to use. The opposite side may not be used, however, in the case of "slop" shots, players will not be penalized. If you aim for the other side and make it, it is an automatic DQ.
