Xtreme8ball September Newsletter 09 Helloooooooo Xtreme8ball members! Labor Day weekend is upon us - you know what that means. Summer is quickly coming to an end and school is right around the corner, if not already started. Good luck to those of you heading back to class and congratulations to the parents! Hehe :) This summer X8B's staff has been spittin' out tournaments left and right, and the fun doesn't stop here! Come on in and support our wonderful staff! Congratulations to Joe, aka joerell1, for being voted as August's Member of the Month. Joe has been chosen for this award for his positive attitude and willingness to support our staff by jumping lots and lots of tournaments. Joe is a great role model for other members to follow. Thanks Joe! The Staff Member of the Month for August is Lissa, aka lissa72112. Ever since becoming a member of our staff in July, she has been hosting her little butt off! Lissa is always friendly and willing to help others. This month, Lissa has hosted 170 tournaments! Keep up the good work hun! August's TOC Grand Champion is aflatoon_faraz1. Woohoo! Keep up the good work. Xtreme8Ball offers 3 different TOCs on the last Sunday of the month at Midnight, 7am and 6pm. All 3 winners from those TOCs play in a 1v1v1 playoff match to determine the Ultimate Tournament of Champions winner. We do this in order to allow members from different time zones to participate. This month we had several TD's with over 100 tournaments: Jenn, April, Lissa, Ang, Lisa, Tay, AJ, Aks, Jessie, Shaunn, and Lani. This month's gladiator is... yup you guessed it... Kate, with 251 tournaments! Ok guys we're getting serious now - SOMEONE DE-THRONE THE QUEEN! Her head is getting WAY too big and it's not fitting well through the lobby door. A very nice reward will be given to the TD who beats her. Kate is also our Senior Staff Member of the Quarter! She was voted on by you guys due to her dedication to the league and willingness to help out anyone that needs it. Congrats Kate!! A BIG thank you to all the TD's who volunteer their time to make the members happy. Happy hosting! In order to apply, you must be at least 16 years old and have been an active member of the league for 30 days. Xtreme8ball had an awesome August with 2618 tournaments hosted! It is so great to see our TDs doing everything they can to keep the members coming back. We are still one of Cases' most popular leagues and it's all thanks to YOU.
