These rules should be read by every member of Cards and Games League and all members and staff are expected to abide by them.
If you can't abide by these rules then this is not the league for you.

ACCOUNT RULES

LEAGUE NAMES

• Please make sure your league name matches your Pogo name.

• If your League name is deemed offensive or contains profanity, your account may be removed.

• If your League name is deemed abusive towards another member, your account may be removed.

• You can edit your League name by using the ‘My Account’ tab and choosing the ‘Edit Username’ option. If you have problems changing your League name, please use the ‘Contact Admin’ link, located on the 'Support' tab.

E-MAIL ADDRESS

• Your E-mail address must be kept current at all times, in case you need to be contacted. You can use the 'Edit E-mail Address' link on the 'My Account' tab to edit your E-mail address.

PASSWORD SECURITY

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

• You are not permitted to share your password with anyone for any reason, including staff members.

• No one can sign up/register another member in any tournament. Putting other league members into tournaments is not permitted.

• Use of another person’s login ID, with or without permission, is prohibited. Players are not allowed to use another player’s user ID to play in tournaments regardless of their relationship to one another. (ex. husband/wife, parent/child, etc.)

INACTIVITY

• In order to keep the League as dynamic as possible, your account will be automatically deleted if you are inactive for 60 days. However, one of the features of our Premium Membership Program is never being deleted for inactivity. MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS

• Only one account is allowed per person. There are no exceptions to this rule.

• It is forbidden for more than one person to use or share an account.

• Multiple accounts from the same location will be investigated and possibly removed.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
This applies to all members and hosts of Cards and Games.
As a member of MyLeague, you are representing the League (Cards and Games), the Admin staff, and all other members when you are participating on a MyLeague. It is your responsibility as a member to act in a respectable manner within your League community and during tournaments. Your behavior says a lot to non-league members about our league.

• Please note that behavior guidelines govern all methods of communication. This includes chat, E-mail, message forums, instant messenger services, etc. Treat other members with respect!

• It is forbidden to abuse or harass another League member.




• It is important to remember that two wrongs do not make a right. If you are being harassed by another League member, contact the Admin staff for assistance. Do not take matters into your own hands or return the abuse or you could be penalized as well.

• We do not allow any kind of bashing of members, staff, non-league members or any MyLeague.

• If you have an issue with another league member please try to resolve it outside of tournament time, not during a tournament. If you feel you need assistance notify an admin.

• Always treat non-league members and league members with respect. Please use your mute button to mute non-league members if they are harassing or trying to disrupt you while you are trying to play. Do not argue back & forth with them, if you do you run the risk of being reported to pogo and losing your Pogo account. You also risk being put in the league penalty box or being removed from the league completely.

• If you have a problem with a host please contact an admin.

• Please show respect for your host and follow league rules. Hosts do not get paid, they are all volunteer. They give up their free time to host tournaments for all of you. Disrespect will not be tolerated.

CHEATING

• If you believe your opponent is cheating, then you should contact the Admin staff. We have no tolerance for cheating and if you are caught you will be kicked from the league.

TOURNAMENT RULES

• Be sure and check the calendar for upcoming tournaments that you would like to play in. Sometimes if a host has time they might throw an extra tour in so be sure you refresh the page when checking the calendar. You can view our calendar here.

• We try very hard to start tours on time so please be in the room at least 10 minutes before the tour starts. If there are enough players in the room (4 and this can include the host with playing permissions) the host will close registration 5 minutes prior to the start of the tournament time. This is to help prevent delay and confusion that is created by "last minute" jumpers. Remember that the host also has to be fair to the other players so please be courteous and arrive at the tour on time.

1. We do not use timers.  If you are not in the room by the time the host gets the pairs, you will be removed from the tournament. BE THERE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES EARLY!

• We no longer run rules in our game rooms. It is your responsibility to read the rules on the tournament pages by clicking Rules or on the homepage ( www.myleague.com/carsandgames ).

• Various special tour rules will be posted on the tour page and are also located on homepage.

• This is a no replay league so if you freeze or get booted we are so very sorry.

• Subs will only be used in 2 vs 2 (Partners tours). If a sub is not available then the host will use the halfway score for the player that froze or got booted.

• A host can say "GOOOOO" or "Start Now" before pairings are given. This will help with starting and ending tournaments on time.

• Please try to hold chat when players are reporting their scores. It makes it easy for all to see the results and the host to get scores/tokens.

• When the host states “I SHOW WINNERS AS ??” this is the only way we have to double check that the right person is marked as the winner. Please watch chat to verify and respond with a “y” or “n”.

1. It is the responsibility of all players (winners and non winners) to verify the winners.

2. If you disagree, this is the only time we can change it. We are human and do make mistakes.  All disagreements will be checked with screen shot. After this time we will be deleting our screen shot and it will be too late to change.

• Players should not directly report losses to the ladder in any tournament. The Host/TD reports tournament results to the league, unless it is a ladder match then the loser of that ladder match should report the loss.

• There will be no arguing in our game rooms. If you have a problem with another league member deal with it after the tour either in pc or IM. Having our members argue in the game room looks bad for all of us.

DISCIPLINE GUIDE

• Typical, Penalty Box violations are...

1. First Violation - Warning

2. Second Violation - 3 days

3. Third Violation - 1 week

4. Additional Violations = Possible removal from the league.

* Note: This is only a guideline. The actual infraction will determine the actual punishment which may be more or less severe than outlined above.

If you are a member of another league at no time may you recruit members and/or staff from Cards and Games league, doing so will result in your removal from the league.
