
TSue's Stovetop Meatloaf
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 tsp salt and dash of pepper
- 1 tbsp shortening
- 1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp horseradish
Mix 1/2 soup of the soup with the beef, crumbs, egg, onions, salt and pepper.
Add shortening into the skillet. Shapes beef into 2 loaves and brown on both sides
Cover and cook over low heat for 25 mins remembering to spoon out the fat.
Top with the rest of the soup, water and horseradish. Cook uncovered for 10 mins.
