Welcome family into a new year 2021, our 18th year on Bid as we continue keep you informed and send our newsletters on any and all positive news and accoplishments.

Here at Bid it’s all about "YOU" our Players and we try to do everything within our means to make Bid a place where you can come 'play bid' and chill.

We are so excited about the new year and great ideas we have in store for you to start off 2021! As we continually give you, the players, an opportunity to try out new receipe's along with our spotlight a TD & Player, newly added 'Celebration of life' for our family that have transitioned into their new heavenly home, information for upcoming LIVE tournament events throughout the 2021 & 2022 year, as we CLAIM this virus will disappear with the help and assistance of the distribution of the anti-virus that has now been shared and implemented to those that are in need.

1. How long have you been a member of the league? Since 2012
2. What is your favorite game to host? 1st to 5 games to play? 7 hands, 4 hi minimum
3. Other than playing bidwhist, what do you do in your free time? Reading/Dominos/Spades/Solitaire/TV/going to senior center earlier.
4. Have you attended a live tournament? If so what was your favorite live tournament? Yes. Virginia Beach
5. What is your favorite color? Red
6. What is your favorite food to eat? Pizza bowl and Cheezy Bread

1. How long have you been a memer of the league? 11 years
2. What is your favorite rules to play? Hands Tourney (7/7, 8 hands)
3. Have you attended a live tournament? If so what was your favorite live tournament? Have you ever won a trophy/cash? If no do you plan on going to a live tournament? Chicago(several times, and we dressed to impress-lol); Buffalo(the falls, hanging out in Canada and BBQ At Biggies). Won several trophies (about 15 or more)
4. Other than playing bidwhist, what do you do in your free time? Travel, wherever i can get a ticket going my way.
5. What is your favorite food to eat? to cook? Seafood. I love to cook Thanksgiving Dinner
6. What is something no one would guess about you? I am a nice, sensitive and caring person (BUT I know I can be mean) lol
7.What is your favorite destination? Where would you like to go? Paris/Dubai/California (When COVIDs over, I want to go to Greece)

~TIFF TASTY TREATS~
COCONUT PINEAPPLE MARGARITA
INGREDIENTS
Pineapple (fresh/frozen) 2 cups
Coconut Milk (canned) 1 cup
Coconut Tequila (1800 Coconut Tequila) 1 pint
Ice (depends on you)
Lime 1 lime wedge
Blender (*Please drink responisbly*)

INSTRUCTIONS
Add ingredients to a blender and blend well
Squeeze lime on top
*option to add a bit of lime juice to the drink before blending well*


SEAFOOD STUFFED POTATOES
INGREDIENTS
4 baking size Russet potatoes
1 lb crawfish tails drained of fat
1 lb of raw shrimp
1 lb of lobster pieces
2 T minced garlic
1 stick of butter
4 T flour
8 oz block cream cheese softened
2 cups shredded American cheese Velveeta
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 1/2 cups half and half
2 T cajun seasoning
2 T liquid crab boil
2 T onion powder
1 T garlic powder
Seasonings of choice (chives or green onions)
INTRUCTIONS
Potatoes:
Wash and dry the potatoes, Poke small holes all over the potatoes using a fork to vent.
Wrap them in foil and bake them on 400 F for 40-50 mins.
When the potatoes are done, carefully cut a split down the middle of a potato. Do NOT cut through the other (or under) side of the potato’s skin.
Scoop the insides of the potatoes out and place it into a bowl; reserve the potato skins and keep them intact., Add in the cream cheese, chives, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
Mix well, cover to keep warm, and set aside.

Seafood & Sauce:
Add the shrimp, lobster pieces and crawfish into a bowl. Season the shrimp with 1 TBS of Cajun seasoning, 1 TBS onion powder and 1 TBS liquid crab boil.
In a saucepan, melt 4 TBS of butter and add in the garlic, Sauté the garlic for 30 secs.
Add in the shrimp, lobster pieces and crawfish and sauté until the shrimp are cooked; about 4-5 mins. Remove and set aside. Pour the liquid left in the pot into a cup and reserve

In the same pot, melt the remaining butter. When the butter melts, whisk in the flour
Mix until the flour is no longer visible; about 1 min. Pour in the reserved seafood liquid
Pour in the half and half while whisking. Bring it to a low simmer Stir in 1 TBS of Cajun seasoning and 1 TBS of onion powder. When the sauce starts to thicken, stir in all remaining cheeses. When the cheese melts, add in the seafood and stir. Once the seafood is hot turn off the heat.
Spoon the potato mixture evenly onto the reserved potato skins. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly on each potato
Ladle the seafood sauce over the potatoes. Garnish with chives or green onions
