General Rules
1. Staff of this league should be respected at all times
2. Staff will not be booted from any tournament table. If you don't want them there ask them to leave politely. If you boot on purpose you are boxed for 5 days.
3. League ID must be same as the yahoo ID you use. If its not the same,you may be asked to change your ID.
4. If there are more than 1 person using the same computer, please let an admin know. That way the accounts will not be removed.
5. Please refrain from using profanity in lobby. Ie: the F*** word, C*** word and God**** is banned.
6. If you are asked by an admin to mind your language, do not argue or state your case, just listen and the situation will be settled. Failure to comply will or may result in being boxed or kicked.
7. No arguing with staff in the lobby, you will be boxed immediately. If you have any problems with any member of the staff contact an admin.
8. No arguing with tds regarding timers and other things related to a tourney. Td's decision is final. If you disrespect them you will be boxed or removed from the league.
9. Yahoo glitches always happen, just keep playing and have fun.
10. Please be respectful to everyone whether they are members, staff or a new face that enters the room.
11. The only ones that should be using caps and spamming are the TD's.
12. Please keep all drama out of the lobby, if you have problems please contact an admin.
13. Please iggy anyone causing trouble in lobby. If they are ignored they will most likely leave.
14. There will be no member boosting in our room at any time. If you do and you are seen it could lead to penalty box or removal from the lg.
15. Safeties and snookering are not allowed in this league unless a tournament which allows it is run. If you feel that u need to do so, we are in few interleagues where its allowed and you are welcome to join us.
16. Admins are here to help you regarding any problems that your facing in the league. Please feel free to contact them.
ID's in the league
1. No changing league id's every week. You can change your league id every 90 days.The only exception is the tds who have hosted toast the host tournys.
After the week is up they go back to their original league id.
2. Please all lg members please do NOT bring in any other id's other than your league id.
3. If you are asked to remove an id other than your lg one please do so or you may be boxed or kicked.
4. If your id is barred then you can bring in another id and play in tourneys etc, but please bring it to the attention of an admin or HTD.
5. Provisional ids are not allowed. Join the league after completing 20 games.
Game Rules
1. 1st name called in pairings must be the one who invites.
2. Regards to where a player should sit there are no rules, winning a pool match doesn't depend on you seating position at the table.
3. If you pocket the 8 on break, its re-rack, no questions asked.
4. While in a tourney if you accidently pocket the 8 and it is less than five balls already pocketed, its up to the winning player to offer a re-rack. If the winner doesn't offer, report loss in the lobby and join the next tourney.
5. No Force Forfeits. If you are found to FF a member during a tourney, you are boxed for 3 days. no appeal here. Ask for a timer, if the timer runs out, invite the td to your table and cancel the game.
6. Please be respectful and be a good sport. Say gl,vgl, bol before a game and afterwards vgg ty, gg. It shows good sportsmanship.
7. Before the 8 ball is pocketed if your opponent says vgg please call the td to your table. This is not acceptable, shows bad sportsmanship, similar second offence you are boxed for a week.
8. Please report after tourny matches won/lost vs opponent vgg ty.
Timers
1. All timers are 7 minutes, if someone gives win there is no timer.
2. If a player has joined but is not in the lobby, the opponent can ask for a timer. In most cases its the duty of the TD/HTD to run a timer, no give wins in this case.
3. Bootem timers are 3 mins.
4. No timer resets.
5. If a member needs to reboot, then the td will wait for 3 mins before starting the timer.
Formal Challenge
You have 7 days to complete a formal challenge, please play or it will show on your record.
Cheating
1. No using auto AIMERS or any other shooting devices allowed. If you are caught using one you may be asked to cam 3-4 games using camtasia.
If you refuse you may be boxed or banned.
2. No accusing someone of using an auto AIMER. Please bring it to an admins attention.
League Games
1. If you play a league game please report it if you lose.
2. If you win and your opponent does not report it, bring it to an admin and they will report it for you.
Requirements to be a Tournament Director
1.If you want to apply for td, we would love to have you,all we ask is that you dont give up after a week.
If you require training there are Htd's at hand who can train you.
2. We would like to see at least 10 a week. Really we would just like to see you running tourneys and enjoying yourself.
We all have lives outside the league. Job's, family etc. So just run as many as you can as long as it is above 1 tournament.
3. Make sure all tourney's r kept up 2 date and on time, so they are on the main lg page 4 members 2 jump.
If they are set up earlier and been run at a later time change it to the time it is when you run it.
Tournament Director Guidelines
1.Do not set a tourney before entering the room.
If you want to host a tourney please check the tourney calendar first to see who is hosting and whether you can fit one in.
Please don't rely on the TD's in the room to know who has set one up for next.
2. Only 1 tourney may b set up at one time, once the tourney starts if there is no other tourney set up, the TD may then go n set up another tourney.
3. Make sure all tourney's r kept up 2 date and on time, so they are on the main lg page 4 members 2 jump.
If they are set up earlier and been run at a later time change it to the time it is when you run it.
4.TD's must know the tourney rules of the tournament they are running. If you are uncertain please do not run it until you are sure.
The tourney must be on the tournament rules page, or something similar like red ball last may be blue ball last.
But explain this to the people playing that it is similar. If there is a completely new tournament please give the rules set in stages of how it is played to Nai,
so she can add them to the rules page.
5. If you have 4 in a tourney who are playing and someone tells you they give win please remove them from the tournament.
6. You can jump your own tourneys but you get 3 warnings if you do not pay attention and get 3 the ability to jump your own will be removed.
7.When massing a tourney in yim please mass it only ONCE every 5 MINUTES.
8. When not running a tourney please lose caps unless you are spamming for next. Nothing else should be said in caps except the next tournament details.
9. The 1st name called in pairings invites.
10.If someone asks for a timer, for what ever reason it is a 7 minute timer.
11. A boot-em can be set as Swiss system or regular. If you want to learn either of these please get with a HTD/ADMIN who knows so they can train you.
12. Tourneys will be ran this way as of now. If there is a tourney in finals then next tourney should start running. After that starts next TD needs to start spamming.
Its not hard to keep it like that we believe we can run 40 tourneys that way as long as we have tds running.
13. There will be a calendar going out at the end of each month for the specials, so anyone can set them up doesn't have to be particular people each week,
except the TOC which is always set up by Sprinks. But they will need to be set up in advance so we know who is hosting them when.
Only have to be careful that when you host the Wednesday night tourneys, you have an admin at hand to help do the reporting.
Also things that have a trophy attached the winners names are given to Nai or Sprinks to add them to the league page.
Staff Guidelines
1.TDs need to be aware that if they have a problem about a tournament, it should be taken to a HTD. This is what the HTDs are there for to help run tournaments.
2. HTD's need to be nice to the TD's and encourage them to run if they are around. Please don't be mean and boss them around.
3. If a HTD sees a problem with how a TD is running their tournament please talk to that TD outside the lobby, there should be no criticising.
4.HTD's if you want to send out a e-mail to TD's please let Skittles , Sprinks, Nai, or James look it over first before sending it out.
- on that note it may be easier to notify all 4 of them, so they all know whats being done, before its sent out,
as we should be agreeing on it first before its sent out
5. ADMIN's need to listen to each other and work alongside each other, when things occur in lobby. For example if we need to move rooms because of a problem.
Or if we need to Iggy someone who just likes to cause trouble.
6. One day during the 1st week of each month have an ALL STAFF meeting. Whether its a few TD's or many. Its only to go over rules,
see if anyone has something to bring up that may help the league.
it can go up on the main league page, telling the TD's when it will happen, either as an announcement or maybe setup the news box again on lg page with whats going on.)
7.Admins will meet the next day after the meeting and discuss it, and if there are more rules or changes we come up with we will verify them and send them out in an e-mail.
8. There should be no removing staff unless its been authorised by ADMIN as a group.
If a TD isn't hosting and refuses to host they can Idle out of staff rather than be removed after so many days.
There is always a chance that TD may suddenly decide to host, and that will help the league, even if it is one tournament every now and again.
9. New TD Apps should be checked by Skittles, Sprinks, James or Nai. We are looking for new TD's to host especially as it is a big league.
Experience is not necessary as they can be trained.
