Are you new to league play.

If so here are some instructions on how to join the league and jump tournaments.


Free Sign Up

1. Click on free sign up on the left hand side.

2. Answer as many questions as you can to get ladderbux. You will need these to jump tournaments.

3. Get activation code from your Email....make sure you check your junk mail.

4. Enter the activation code and you are ready to begin.




How To Jump or Enter Tournaments

1. We play in pogo under the advanced tab, in Orange Roughy room.

2. If you can't get into the room please feel free to use the backdoor button provided on main, right beside the tournament calendar.
Sometimes when Roughy is really full the backdoor will not open right away...please just keep on trying because it will open.

3. You can enter tournaments any one of the following ways.
By the Tournament Calendar on the Main Page. Just click on the Tournament you wish to join.
By jump number...when you are in the lobby and the TD gives you a jump number you can enter it on the left where it says tourney jump. Just enter the number, press enter and it will take you to the page.
By scrolling down to the bottom of the main page. You will see all the Tournaments listed there and the times they start.

4. Once you have the tournament page up, you click on register.

5. Enter your freaks name and password and make sure you have clicked the little box that says you have read the rules, then click register.

6. Please always go in and read the rules for any games other than Regular Std., and on the rules page you will also see the table settings.

That's it you are now registered for a Tournament.


Playing in a Tournament

1. Go into the Orange Roughy room if you are not already there.
Please wear your League name when joining tournaments because it confuses the host if you come in wearing a different name.
Unless of course you get renamed then it's ok to change it.
Try also when possible to go to the room at least 5 or 10 minutes before tour starts, to make sure you can get the room loaded, and also so the TD knows that all are present.

2. If you are new to freaks, let the TD know you are there...it won't be long before you are getting lots of hugs....lol.

3. Keep an eye on the lobby at the time the tournament is going to start. The TD will let you know what table to sit at and what game you are playing along with the rules.
The password to our tables is "freaks".

4. Please sit at the table right away so as to avoid any delays to the tournament. If you are going to be away from your keyboard then type in lobby brb so people know you are not there, and type back when you get back.
If you are not in the lobby you will be put on a timer for 10 minutes.....if you are in the lobby but not going to the table right away you will be put on a timer for 10 minutes. You will be disqualified if you do not return before the time is up.

5. When the game is done, go to the lobby and let the TD know who won the game.

6. Please alway be courteous in both the lobby and at the table by saying
gga...gjp....nsp.....etc.

7. Please Please Please....if you are getting low on ladderbux let someone in the lobby know, and you will be gifted some bux.


Ladder Matches

Have you been in the lobby and heard people say...."open ladder on table 100"....or "anyone want to ladder".
Well this is a way to climb the ranks ladder in the league....kinda like ratings in pogo.
The more you play in either Tournaments or Ladder Matches the higher your rank will be, and the closer to the "Number 1" spot you will be.

1. A ladder match is played between only 2 players....each player plays with a bot.

2. Table is set the same as Reg/Std., and should be made private as well.

3. When the game is over, only the looser reports.

4. To report the loss go to the main page and click on report loss on the left hand side.
At this time you will need your opponents correct league name.

5. You will enter your league name and password and another window will come up. At this time you will enter your opponents league name and click on submit loss.

6. You can only ladder the same person 3 times per day....but may ladder others as much as you want throughout the day.
