HOW THE
UNIVERSAL INTERLEAGUE COMPETITION (UIC) WORKS
This is a broad overview, more details may be obtained in other links once they have been finalised.
In season 1 there
will be 1 Elite Division with 12 teams (should 24 leagues apply to join then, more than likely, there will be 2 Divisions)
Each team to have 5 players. (5 v 5)
Every
match shall be played at the same time every week i.e. SATURDAYS @ 6PM US EASTERN -
NO EXCEPTIONS
Teams
play a 5 game match each week thereby playing each other twice in a 22 week
‘home and away’ season & culminating in a 3 week finals series.
1
point will be allocated for each GAME win.
These
points will determine your for and against GAMES record.
There
will be 4 points for each MATCH win.
These
will be the points that will determine your team’s position on the ladder.
Points will be totalled to determine each team’s weekly position on the ladder.
Should
2 or more teams be level on points their position will be determined by win/loss

On completion of the season the 4 top placed teams will play in 2 semi finals, a preliminary final and a grand final to determine the UIC champions.
Each of the semi finals and the preliminary final shall be one match.
The
Grand Final shall be a best of 3 series
