On behalf of the Administrators and Hosts, I welcome you to Pogowizards Canasta League.
You should save the following site in “favorites” or “bookmark.” www.myleague.com/pogowizards .

Games are held in Golden Gate, under the Advance Tab.
You can register for tourneys by using the jump number or by clicking on the calendar.
To remain in the league you must be active. This can be accomplished by tourneys or Ladder matches.
This is a match between two members that may be rated or not.
However, the losing member must report the loss on the Wizard Site.
Tournaments are held mostly on the even hour Eastern Time

If the room is full, use the backdoor on site or try this http://www.mybackdoors.com.
If this isn’t working send an instant message to someone in the league.
We also ask for your instant message services. This is to inform you of tourneys that are about to take place.

Games are RATED and tables PRIVATE, you will need the League password.
Funk games (something other then regular canasta games) are UNRATED.
Also, any game that does not go to 5000 is unrated.

Some of you have only played a couple of times or not at all.
I want to make sure you are not having any problems.
If you are, please go to our room and ask a Host to help you.
You may be low on bux.
Again, if you speak to a Host they will see that you get some.

There is also a link on the main page to retrieve YOUR Wizard password should you have forgotten it.
It has happened! So please be sure to use a valid email address so that your password will be emailed to you
immediately should this occur.

It is very important that you read our rules. A complete list is found on our Wizard site.
Feel free to explore our sites.
The forum among other things is a place to get to know one another. You may post your thoughts.

Remember our Hosts are volunteers and give of their time to create an atmosphere you may come to and enjoy.
Any complaints during a tournament, you take to the TD that hosted it.
We ask that you call the TD to a table or on instant message. If needed they will call an Administrator.

You will meet lots of people in this league; some will become good friends, and others you might not like.
We hope that all wizards say hi, good luck and good game but we cannot force it upon anyone.
However, rude comments are unacceptable. We are a group of mixed personalities.

I hope this helps. It seems confusing, but is really simple.
I tell everyone to click on the site under all the buttons, to get a feel for what information is there.
