In this league we host a lot of 2 v 2 Tournaments. We prefer that our players are able to read the pairings so that the tournament can move forward more quickly than is possible if the hosting TD has to announce them all in the lobby.
Hopefully the following will help you understand how to read pairings.

How to read 2 v 2 Pairings
To start with you will need to check the Team names so you will know which players are on which team. To do this refresh the Tournament Page and click on the word "TEAMS"
Now Click on the word "STANDINGS"
Round 1
See how you have Brackets - the 2 teams in each bracket are opponents. Players in the team at the top of the bracket set the table and invite the players from the team at the bottom of the bracket.
Not all teams play Round 1. The teams that have a bye are automatically through to Round 2.
In this tournament we have 4 brackets.
Round 1 Round 2
Bracket 1 - Team doris n donna have a bye - they advance to round 2 automatically.Bracket 2 - Team bravalil_i are the top team and they invite the players from the bottom of the bracket - Team slw_2uconn
Bracket 3 - Team conchkykid have a bye - they advance to round 2 automatically
Bracket 4 - Team wol18tsiff are the top team and they invite the players from the bottom of the bracket - Team PoRn_Stars

In this round we have only 2 brackets
As for the first round the players from the team that is the top of the bracket invites the players from the team at the bottom of the bracket
