Welcome to risingsun!
We are a multi-gaming league.
Our main aim is to have LOTS of fun in this league, where you can come and let your hair down and have a great time!

Drama will NOT be tolerated at all and if there is any, we will put a stop to it immediately!!
Good sportsmanship is expected from all members and staff!!

Our TDs, HTDs & ADMIN all volunteer their time here and any abuse to them of any kind will NOT be tolerated!!

If you have any questions or inquiries, don't hesitate to ask any of our staff.
If they can't help, they will know someone that can.

LEAGUE & GAME RULES!

This league was opened with the intent to deliver a FUN , RELAXING, AND DRAMA FREE atmosphere.

We know that people can get very competitive, which is fine that is the point, but lets keep in mind everyone has feelings and mistakes are made all the time, people are human.

These rules were made over time from problems that have arisen with people. Much is common sense to most people, but there are a few that need to be reminded. So, please read them over just so you know what they are.

HERE IS A LIST OF RULES WE EXPECT EACH PERSON IN THE LEAGUE TO FOLLOW:

1.) If you are in a tournament , and sign up for a second tournament that starts before you are out of your current one, you will be disqualified in the second one.

2.) Please understand that each TD has their own way of hosting, some do call next round pairings as soon as available some don't. Sit back, relax, and wait until you're up! Please don't hassle the TD to announce pairs.

3.) Each member is to pay attention to their host. Watch for your rules, table settings, your name and opponent, and what table you will play at etc. We do request that you click on standings when tourney has started to check who you play or who you are waiting on rather than ask TD in lobby. That just helps cut down on some of the chat in lobby and work for the TD.

4.) If you do not understand the rules, please ask the td to explain again before beginning your game. It's your responsibility to make sure you understand BEFORE you start your game. NO RESTARTS WILL BE PERMITTED!

5.) Make sure you wait for the host to give you the GTG (good to go) before beginning to play your game. If you start without it, you may have to lose what ever points you gain if the host says the table is wrong.

6.) Extend table timers 3 times if they time out again make sure you call the host to the table.

7.) Please make sure you ask the host if you are able to watch at a table, if you enter a table without TD permission you will be asked to leave straight away.

8.) All games must be played out, regardless of the score. You are not allowed to leave a tourney because you are mad about someone or something that happened in the tourney. Once you join a tourney please stay until you lose or the tourney is over.

9.) In a 2v2 tourney, if a player is missing and times out, the partner that is there is given the choice of using the computer as a partner, or losing the match.

10.) We like that people are competitive, but lets keep in mind everyone has feelings. Be a graceful non-winner. Don't be rude. A simple hi gl and gg glnr is a nice gesture to let them know you look forward to playing them again. We really encourage this since we are like a family here.

11.) Respect your fellow players and your host. Remember we are all here volunteering our time to bring you these games. And our players are volunteering to play with Rising Sun just like you.

12.) If any players make ANY type of derogatory comment toward a player's race, ethnic background or sexual orientation they will be removed from the league. No warnings!!

13.) At no time is arguing in the lobby permitted. If this occurs it's an automatic boxing for 3 days! BOXING - MEANS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN ANY RISINGSUN LEAGUE GAMES FOR 3 DAYS. This includes arguments with non-league players. If you have a problem with somebody please take them to a table, private chat or instant message and discuss privately. Please remember that we share our lobbys with non-league members. If they are bothering you, please mute them.

14.) Please remember that all of the tournament host's are volunteers. They are here to make your playing experience fun and fair. They are to be respected at all times. If you have a problem with a host please speak with them privately.

15.) To keep the playing experience for everybody enjoyable, we ask that you use common sense when chatting in lobby and game rooms. Please remember that what may seem acceptable to you may offend others. We will not tolerate any cursing, sexually explicit language or other language that may be deemed inappropriate.

16.) Any player that goes to another league and asks their players to join Rising Sun will be banned from this league. That is also the same backwards if you are in another league and come to Rising Sun and ask our members to join that league you will be banned as well.

17.) Any member caught cheating will be banned from Rising Sun.

18.) All members are expected to abide by all rules that are set forth in this league as well as Cases rules.

19.) Penalties for going against any of these rules:
1st violation = warning in most cases unless there is ugly behavior with it (such as swearing, arguing in lobby, etc)
2nd violation = boxed for 3 days
3rd violation = boxed for 7 days
4th violation = boxed for 10 days
5th violation = removed and banned from the league
