Welcome Live Bid Whist Players

Hello to my wonderful extended family

As we continue to travel from city to city, it is important that we continue to keep our bid whist tradition.

Even though we have lost members, we should not neglect the remaining players who are still here that we consider is our extended family.

Our family just continues to flourish and the time together is more beautiful every time we meet. Seeing us all together brings back so many memories of all the years passed. Remember at last year’s live bid event in Jacksonville, Florida the wonderful fellowship we had after being on lockdown.

Let’s keep moving forward and keep making those memories. So, stay tuned each month, be on the look-out, and watch how we roll down the highway!

~LAST LIVE BID EVENT 2022~

After a long lockdown, the bid family was ready to get together
face-to-face. In April 2022, the Deep South Bid Whist Players
(DSBWP) hosted the live bid whist event in sunny Jacksonville,
Florida. What much needed fellowship and a great time was had
by all. It was so good to see one another after being in quarantine
for so long.

Next stop was Chicago, Illinois!

The Chicago Online Bid Whist Players (COBWP) normally hosts
annually during the second weekend in August. Again, it was so
good to meet in person and enjoy each other.

NEXT 2023 LIVE BID WHIST EVENT
DETROIT, MICHIGAN

Our bid sisters, Finisher And Ladyluck will host the
next live bid whist event. The location is Detroit,
Michigan. Join us for a "SHOWDOWN IN MOTOWN".

The dates are August 17-20, 2023. We look forward
to making this a great time to remember.

Interested in hosting a live bid event in your city, just please let us know.
We also would like to get feedback on a couple of bid whist topics:

(1) Would you think it would be better if we just hosted one (1) tournament
each year or continue with two (2) each year.
(2) Where else you would like to go in our great states? We don’t have to have a family member in that state to host there.
(3) Are any of our Family members interest in hosting in 2025 are beyond?
(4) Would you be interested in doing a Bid family cruise?

There are so many bid family members who have departed this earth and have been called home.
The love in our family flows strong and deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep.
