League Specific Rules

Please make sure you read and understand the rules for each tournament prior to start time.

1. First name listed in pairings makes the tables and gets seat choice. It will be the hosting TD's choice as to who makes final table.

All tables are to be protected as soon as you make your table. Rated/Non-Rated/STD settings will be specific to each games rules.

If a non league member happens to sit at your table, please do not boot, simply ask them to stand or remake the table.

2. It will be up to the hosting TD whether or not they check Kibitz. If they ask you to turn them off, please do so. Some games rules require Kibitz to be turned on.

3. Please invite the hosting TD's to the table first. This will ensure the proper timer, if any, is posted. Hosting TD is to be available at the tourney table before game play begins. Please wait for the TD to spam rules before starting the game.

4. No Cheating or kibitzing is allowed at the tables, unless the specific tournament allows it.

No table talk allowed. This means you are not permitted to give any type of hint about your hand in chat or messenger.

5. You will be allowed one(1) BOO per tourney the second(2) BOO will result in DQ. Same goes for subs, they will be allowed one(1) BOO, on the second they will be asked to stand and be replaced with a new sub. There will be no BOO's allowed in finals by anyone. If the sub BOO's in finals, they will be asked to stand and get a new sub. If the player BOO's in finals, they will be DQ.

6. If a problem arises please invite the hosting TD. Please ask a TD, HTD, or Admin if you have any questions concerning tourneys.

7. Please DO NOT click Force Forfeit, always click WAIT in the event a player gets booted or is frozen.

8. When a BOO occurs, the non-BOOing team will decide 1 or 2 skips.

9. There will be a seven(7) minute timer for all regular full tourneys and a five(5) minute timer for all quickie tourneys. Should you get booted or not respond to invites and don't return within the allotted time frame, you will be disqualified from the tourney and a sub will be asked to take your place. Your opponent will advance to the next round.

10. Fast play is expected at all times. In the event of slow play, timers will be issued. Once a timer is started the minimum time used is 1 minute. Example: Timer of 35 as been issued and only 30 seconds have passed, a 1 minute used time will be added to your time. A BRB will constitute the start of a timer.

11. You can only register for one(1) tourney at a time. The only time you will be allowed to be in two(2) tourneys at one time is if the previous tourney is in finals. If you are registered for the next tourney and not in finals of the current tourney, you will be DQ'd from the next tourney.

12. No playing at a non-tourney table during tournament game play. You are not allowed to be at a non-tourney table with any other member alone during tourney game play

13. You may ask anybody to sub as long as they are in the lobby and ready to sub. We will not wait for members to get to the lobby just to sub.

In a 2vs2/3vs3 tourney, if a player times out, the other player will be allowed to get a sub for the remainder of the tourney, however, the sub must be available for the remainder of the tourney. In the event a sub was given, the hosting TD must let a member of admin know who the timed out player was so that we can adjust the win/loss record of the timed out player.

Subs may play 2 tables only if they can uphold the fast play rule. However, if your sub can not handle 2 tables you will be asked to get another sub.

Hosting TD's will not be allowed to sub unless they are the only one available. TD's will be allowed to sub in a game that requires kibitzing only if there is no other sub available. NOTE: Staff please remember these are your players, keep them playing, they will support you.

14. No loners on 9 pts. If a player goes alone on 9, the skip rule will apply with no boo charged.

15. Tournaments will start on time unless there are not enough registered players. TD's should wait no longer than 10 min to close a tourney with enough players registered. Should there not be enough players registered, the TD will wait the maximum time of fifteen(15) minutes before moving a tournament. Regular tourneys will be played on the hour with quickies being played on the half hour.

TD will announce the closing of a tournament and ask it there are any other players wanting in the tournament before closing.

16. Please DO NOT respond to lobby trouble makers as this only makes them more aggressive. Placing them on ignore or not responding will detour the trouble maker out of the lobby quicker.

If it is a league member causing the issues, please DO NOT respond to make the situation worse. Please bring it to the attention of an Admin or any avail staff member.

17. Respect is a common goal for all members including staff. We do not like to box any members, but sometimes in some situations we may have to. One reason for boxing is DISRESPECT. The use of the foul language or aggressive name calling will result in boxing.

No abusive language or inappropriate language will be permitted at the table or in the lobby. Please be considerate of your fellow members.

If a situation occurs between 2 or more members, we ask that you keep it out of the lobby and away from the tourney tables. Please keep any arguments in private IM or take it to a private table. If you can not resolve the problem amongst yourselves, please take the issue to a member of Admin.

18. TD always has final say about their tournaments. If it is a problem that can't be resolved please take it to a member of Admin for resolution.

This is an adult league and some conversations will not be appropriate for some individuals please be advised adult content applies.

We the staff would like to thank you for showing your support to Sleek Smoken' Euchre Crew.
