League Rules
First and foremost Let’s have some fun!
Don’t be intimidated by our rules or conduct guidelines. They are
in place to ensure that all players are treated the same, fairly,
and able to enjoy our tournaments. In our experience, there have
been very few situations that have resulted in members being
removed from the league.
Be respectful of all league members, league staff and non-league
players in the game rooms. If there is a problem, do not argue
in the lobby of the game room. It is best to notify the tournament
director if there is a problem and let them handle it. Arguing
in the lobby can lead to boxing or banning.
Do not advertise our league in any games rooms that are not ours.
This is strictly against Cases Rules. If someone asks about our
league in a room that we don’t have registered, please take them
to private chat.
Please be on time and ready to play at least 5 minutes before
each tournament in which you are entered. This will allow the
host to do roll call, run the rules, and close the tournament
on time.
'Quiet Watching' is allowed as long as both players at the table
agree. If either player requests no watching, the request must
be honored.
Players that are booted from table game tours will have 5 minutes
to return or until all the pairs for that round have finished
playing, whichever comes first. Your boot timer will begin and
the time for your table will stop. If you are able to return
within 5 minutes, your table timer will resume where you left
off.
All table games have a 20 minute timer per round.
The player that is asked to set will have 1 minute to set their table. Please do
not begin playing until the host has verified your table settings
and given you a table start time. Please watch the lobby for the
host to say Table 35 GTG (good to go) 11:35 as an example. If 20
minutes are reached and the game is not over, the player
with the higher score wins the round.
Only one extension of the table timer is allowed per game.
Please post in the lobby when you extend the timer. A second
extension of the timer will result in disqualification.
Playing slow when you are winning will not be tolerated and will
be an instant disqualification. Please call the host to your
table to verify.
Also please remember in our table games, both players must stay
at their table until both have reported the match in the lobby.
This is to ensure that both players agree to the winner of the
match. If there is a discrepancy, the host will be able to go to
the table to check the score. However, in order to do this we
need both players to remain at the table. If the host was
booted or is frozen, please ask another TD in the room to take
your reports so that you may leave your table.
It is important during games like bowling, lottso, and dcr that
you please hold chat when the host has asked for reports.
I know we all like to say wtg, gg, etc but please hold off on
doing this until reports are in and the host has verified.
Finally, for the games that members are required to refresh in,
please do not refresh until the host asks you do to so. This
can be distracting for the host to see names coming in and out.
In addition, your opponent may still be verifying your score and
if you refresh they are unable to do that. If you refresh before
the host has asked you to do so, and your opponent was not able
to verify your score, we will have to give the member that stayed
in the room the win.
Sorry to be so harsh but these are very important. So, if they
are not followed there will be one warning. A second time will
result in an automatic disqualification from the tourney.
Please remember, this is your league too. It is what you make
it! So, let's all try very hard to make it as much fun as
possible!
