EVENT RULES ***Events may only be hosted at their designated event times and only by the host approved for that event. Players 1 and 2 play a doubles game. Player 3 plays a singles game. The scores from both games are added. Highest scoring team advances. Can be used with any rules. 3rd WHEEL Table 4/2/2 or 4/2/1 Unrated: In this tournament you play doubles with 2 partners. Someone will be the 3rd wheel and have to watch how the partners play untill you switch seats and someone else will become the 3rd wheel. After hand one is done player 1 stands and tags 3rd partner so that they can play. Then after hand two is done player 2 stands, and player 1 sits etc. Can be used with any doubles rule. BATTLE OF THE CONTINENTS 4 round True Swiss Singles. 1 point allocated to each country every time that person wins a round. Please let the TD know which country you are representing BATTLE OF THE SEXES 4 round True Swiss Singles. It's men vs. women!! 1 point allocated to each sex for every game won. Let the games begin!! BEST OF 3 BEST OF 3 In this swiss you play your opp 3 times * best of 3 * there will be 3 different games played, you have 30 mins to play round. After every round you will inv me back to the table so i can give you both the next rule. As soon as the winner is declared you advance and will move to the next round. The loser will be taken out of the swiss. DO NOT take yourself out, and once you joined i cant remove you from the swiss. You stay in till you lose a round. CARNIVAL RIDE This game is played using two different games that are chosen by the TD That is hosting. The games are alternated between hands until the game is complete. Please let Players know which games have been chosen and post rules accordingly. GO P GO Join me for Go P Go a Tag Team tourney with a twist. The twist is the WINNER each hand will remain seated and keep playing for their Team until they lose. If you by chance lose the hand then you will stand and your other team member will seat and play for your team. INVITER'S CHOICE 3 rounds true swiss. Before the start the td writes down 5 different games for every round. The inviter chooses a number from 1 to 5 and the corresponding game will be played. Remember every round there are 5 different games so you will not play the same game twice in this swiss. I'VE GOT GAME SWISS 3 rounds true swiss. The TD will pick the game for round 1. The angel with the highest score in round 1 will pick the game for round 2. Highest score of round 2 will pick the game for the third round. LOTTO DUBS Starting May 1st we will begin Lotto Dubs. I will be hosting Lotto Dubs at random days and random times all month long. Lotto Dubs will be listed on the tourney page and on the tourney calendar as Lotto Dubs (game). How Lotto Dubs works is this the winning dubs team will receive one lotto number for each member of that team. At the end of the month two numbers will be picked by someone that is not participating in the game other than myself. Winning numbers will both receive 5000 buxs each GL angels LOTTERY SWISS Big bux or little bux?? *TD DONATION: Before the swiss starts the TD writes down 15 numbers corresponding with 15 different td donations{in random order}. There are 10 high donations 1000-10000 bux and 5 low donations 5/50/100/400/700 bux. The TD will ask a random angel to pick a number 1-15. The donation of the corresponding number will be given to the winner of the swiss. LINGO Help us find the SPECIAL word or phrase by solving the jumbled puzzle. At the start of the DE all players will be given 1 letter. Each letter you recieve after that you will earn by each round you play. Top bracket wins 2 letters each rd and Lower bracket wins 1 each rd. Should you be eliminated from tourney you may still use the letters you have collected and solve the puzzle. The 1st player to TYPE the word correctly spelled in the LOBBY wins the 500 bux. You MUST make sure before you hit the enter button that your word is spelled correct or you will be eliminated from solving the puzzle LOSERS CAN Can be used with any game rule. Hosting TD must remain at the table for the entire game. In the first hand, everyone starts off equal and can make canastas. Once the 2nd hand begins, only the player with the lowest score may make canastas. Each players total score (not hand score) will determine who can make canastas next hand. MASQUERADE This is a masquerade tourney, admn only can host it. Please enter the lobby with your themed id. Also, let me know in advance either by email or yim what your masquerade identity will be. I will announce all pairings from the lobby. Please let the td know that you want in the tourney because it's a paper tourney. Once your match is complete, please invite me to the table. The theme will be MULTI-TOURNEY Hosted by Tami beginning May 6th. This tourney is played over several weeks Come and join the fun and compete with friends for 2,000 bux Donation. I will close and start the tourney Tuesday May 6th. at 5 pm and post pairings for Round 1 in the message forum. You may also save the tourney page in your favourites, and check each week who you will play by refreshing the tourney page. It is both you and your opponent's responsibility to contact each other by IM and/or email and set up a time that you can meet and play your game. In the event that you and you opponent were not able to play your game, I will advance the Higher Seed to next round unless the lower Seed can show proof they tried to contact their opponent. That's why it is best to contact them by email, with a return email to you. Both players please e-mail or IM me with the winner. You do not need a staff member present at your table while playing. Its a good idea to let a staff member who is in lobby know that you are playing the multi in the event there is a problem or you opponent goes MIA, so you can invite that td to the table to set a timer. NEW GAMES SWISS This will be a 3 rounds true swiss of some of our newest games. Try something new, you might like it!! OLDIES BUT GOODIES SWISS ****BLAST FROM THE PAST***** This swiss will be 4 rounds of the older but still good games that the Angels league was originally created on. We have over the last 6 years added 200+ games to entertain our angels with, However we want to reintroduce our Oldies but Goodies. So angels please join us in bringing back such games as: Gin Nasta, Suicide, Odd Even, Crack Mirror, No Out, Npu No Out, No Freeze, Popcicle, Regular and Cut just to name a few. All of these games are tried and true. SURVIVOR Beginning Feb 7th. This is a 5 round true swiss singles. How this works is, all registered players will be invited to a TRIBAL COUNCIL table. Pairings will be done at this table. The first person who finishes their game each round and types IMMUNITY at the tribal council table will receive immunity for that round. After all the players are finished their game each round, you will be invited 1 at a time to a separate table to cast your vote for who you want kicked out of survivor...depending on the amount of players in 1 or 2 may be kicked off each round...only the tds will know the votes...so feel free to make alliances...this will be a 2 month long series...after the 8 weeks there will be a survivor finale...where the top 2 from each week will be invited back for the finale...to see who will outwit, outplay and outlast the other survivors. TAG TEAM In this tournament you sign in as doubles with a partner,but play a singles game. You play 1 hand, then you tag your partner to play the next. When your partner is done playing that hand, they stand up and give you the seat back. The 1st player registered on the team must sit and play first. Kibitz off at all times. Can be used with any game rule. TETRIS This is Tetris. This game is played as NO FREEZE. You must build up like tetris your base cards are 6 10 Ace. YOU MAY ONLY USE 6 10 ACE OR WILDS IN YOUR INTIAL MELD. YOU MAY MELD 2 OF YOUR BASE LINE ON YOUR FIRST MELD BUT YOU CANT MAKE ANY CANASTAS TIL YOUR ENTIRE BASE LINE{6 10S ACE} IS MELDED. Once you have laid your base meld you may add to it on the same turn just one at a time: then you can meld 5s and kings then 4s and queens etc.) You can only pick up the pile if the top card is something you have already melded or is the next card in line to be melded. (ex: 6s and 10s melded - next card in line would be 5s and/or 9s) Once you have your base line melded (6s tens and aces) you can make canastas and go out anytime. UNDERCOVER ANGEL Can be used with any singles or doubles rule. One player/team is chosen by the TD to be the The Undercover Angel.. If the Undercover Angel is Elimated from the tourney the player/team who beats them will recieve 500 Bux. If the The Undercover Angel wins the tourney they will recieve the 500 Bux . This specifc game rule each week will be posted on the tourney page and given at each table. WEAKEST LINK PLEASE DO NOT WITHDRAW FROM THIS TOURNEY WHILE IN PROGRESS. This is an 8 Round Tournament. All 8 rounds will be played, unless less than 8 players are registered. At the end of each round the player with the lowest game score is the "weakest link" and will be eliminated. Depending on the number of entries there could be more than 1 player eliminated each round. *Players with a BYE will advance to next round. *MIA,Time outs or DQs are eliminated. Winning opponent will automatically advance. *Number of players to be eliminated will be announced before each round. THIS IS 2 HANDS ONLY. 0 BRBS, one 5 MINUTE MIA, 25 MINUTES GAME TIME. TABLES ARE UNRATED AND PRIVATE. TIME OUTS GET A SCORE OF 0 & THE OPP GETS 5,000.
