WHO WILL THE HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD BE?
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD: The objective of this game is to win Head of Household. This is done by staying at the table and not being voted off (evicted) or sent to jail (double eviction) and by winning the final game.
On the rounds that have votes, the first player to win their game and get back to the household table before anyone else and yell "WON" wins Head of Household for that ROUND. This is the same as winning immunity and you cannot be voted off (evicted) that ROUND.
When you win Head of Household for a round then comes the responsiblity of nominating 2 players for eviction from the tourney. The player winning HOH for that round will type the 2 nominees for eviction in the room.
LANDLORD: The twist of this game that makes it really interesting is the landlord. The landlord may remove one of the HOH's nominees for eviction, thus making the HOH nominate another player.
The Landlord is won by the person who wins by the largest point spread that round. The Landlord is not announced by the TD until after the HOH makes his nominations. If the HOH is the one that wins by the largest point spread, then there is no Landlord that round.
After the Landlord saves someone the HOH then nominates another player for eviction. THE LANDLORD AND THE PERSON SAVED BY THE LANDLORD CANNOT BE NOMINATED OR EVICTED THAT ROUND.
Once the players are nominated, the remaining players EXCEPT for the HOH (Head of Household) vote for one of these players to be evicted. The HOH only votes in the case of a tie vote. The player with the most votes is then evicted by the TD from the household.
DOUBLE EVICTION (GO TO JAIL FOR OUTSTANDING WARRANTS):
If the tourney is large and time is an issue, the TD can designate at will that a certain round will be a double eviction round OR GO TO JAIL FOR OUSTANDING WARRANTS ROUND. The police raid for Double eviction will not be announced until after the player that round has been evicted. The TD will announce "POLICE RAID Double Eviction" in the Room.
Before the TD announces it in the room he/she will have counted the number of players eligible for eviction and chosen "one" of these numbers. This number will be the "GO TO JAIL OR DOUBLE EVICTION NUMBER." The TD will then say to the players that are eligible for JAIL OR eviction to, "Please pick a number from 1 - ?." Numbers will be selected by alphabetical order. The players will in alpha order then each type a number in the lobby of the numbers available. Once this process is complete the TD will announce which player has chosen the selected number and that player will GO TO JAIL AND BE EVICTED FROM THE HOUSEHOLD IMMEDIATELY. IN DOUBLE EVICTION THE HOH, THE LANDLORD AND THE PERSON SAVED BY THE LANDLORD ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EVICTION.
Players: Be advised that this is a FUN tournament. If you cannot accept the fact that you may be voted out by an alliance, evicted or sent to jail, please do not enter this tournament. If you cannot stay for the whole tourney, then do not enter.
This Tournament is strictly in FUN and no abuse, fussing, or bashing of players will be allowed. If your alliance turns against you, THAT is part of Head of Household, do not under any circumstances IM players and make accusations or insults after you are voted out. If this happens that player will not be allowed to enter another Head of Household Tournament!
*CAST YOUR VOTES*
Votes will be cast in this manner. The TD will make one table and invite players eligible to vote one at a time. This will be done in alpha order. Please wait patiently to be invited and please pay attention for the invite so that the voting process can go smoothly and quickly.
Please remain at the table if your name is called for eviction. Take a moment to say your good byes and give the players time to say farewell. The TD will then boot you from the Household Table! It’s fun for the TD and part of the tournament.
*DQ'ING* In all of the games. Any disqualifications will be deemed cancelled games and the player receiving the win will not get Head of Household for that round. Any player dq'ing will not be eligible for immunity for that round and the next round.
If a player receives a bye than they can choose to play the hosting TD for a chance at HOH.
If a player is MIA at the time of pairings, the TD will then sit and play the game with the player that is present. If the MIA player returns during the game before they time out, they will not be allowed to play the game and shall sit at the household table till the game is over. The person that was MIA will also not be eligible for HOH that round even if the TD wins the game and returns to the table with a WON first. If a player has to leave while playing HOH or goes MIA, that person will be removed by the TD before the next round advances. If it is seen that you routinely enter HOH and do not finish the game, you will be restricted from entering anymore HOH tourneys. A player that has to leave may not be considered for eviction by the HOH.
IF YOU WIN A HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD, YOU CANNOT PLAY IN ANYMORE UNTIL THE FINALS. SO PLEASE REMEMBER AND DO NOT REGISTER FOR ANY MORE GAMES UNTIL A NEW HOH IS MADE.
