Hello Bernie. I'm not good with typing but here we go! I am 1 of 5 brothers & 1 sister. I'm easy going until being provoked but that rarely happens. I'm a proud father of 4 children & have 5 stepchildren, I love kids & have been a great father & adviser to them.

My hobby now is playing Spades on the computer. I'm recently disabled from my job as a park worker. I am from New York and still living here at present for 52 yrs.

Several years ago I was introduced to Spades & love the game. So I was playing in different lounges & came to like Suicide. I chose to land in Suicide 4 lounge, & low & behold I came into the league of Stargazers. I was introduced to the league & was loving it. I came into it with a p & she is ebtee2c(Liz). We were welcomed in with open arms. That is a great feeling to be welcomed to a league & play all kinds of ways for the game called Spades.

I personally enjoy the experience of doing just that. it made my game better & more friends to meet & more fun to play. So that brings me to why I'm still in Gazers. The more I got to know the Gazer members the more they become like a family. I'm blessed to have a bigger family & friends. I meet so many wonderful people in there I just cant bring myself to leave it. It became a must play with them.

I play at any given time that's available for me. I play days & sometimes late evenings. The time difference is the same as mine so it's convenient for me to keep track. There are times when I sacrifice my time not going to places just to be in the tournaments with Gazers. My favorite game is A/G Reg. My least favorite is Wooden Nickel.

My advice I would give to new members is it's a wonderful league to play in & don't let anyone influence you to have a bad time. You're here to have fun, enjoy yourself. Any problems you have, just let the TD know & your problem will be solved. For those that want to play all you want, there's always a game waiting for you to play & don't have to worry about your rating & being booted because you're too low. You will always have a p & enjoy yourself. So please you're welcome to join a wonderful team of individuals who holds their arms open for you.

Me personally, I have a special memory which brought me closer in the league. When I was injured from my job & was going through a lot of bad feelings there was a few people who were there to talk with me & help me through my problems. I came through it with the help of the Gazer family & found out that they really care about your well being.

So they're more than just TDs they are real people that have heart & love for you. I have become very close with some of the Gazers & gotten to know many wonderful people. Before coming here we all went through people booting you & cursing you out, sending viruses to your computer, etc. So the league has shown me there are some wonderful people out there.
