paleghost1 September 2008 Bob has been a member since Jan 07 and is one of our HTDs. He hasn’t been around as much as usual coz he has to do that horrible word “work” a lot lately, but we are hoping he is gonna slow down a bit on that. Bob is a great guy to have around in a crisis-he has one of the most loyal streaks I have ever seen. He has proven over and over how much he loves Gazers, and We love him too! Thank you Cindy for sharing what little time he has at home with us. 1. Tell us about you! Your family, hobbies, anything you would like us to know. I'm a north-ender raised with blue collar values. I'm catholic but I don't practice the faith. I'm a rider not a BIKER -- I do ride a Harley lol. I'm a fair to middling bowler and a fair hand at most card games. I have 2 children from another marriage and Cindy has 4 more for a total of 6 and no I didn't raise all of them Yeah, I do have one question for Judy WHY ON EARTH DO YOU KEEP TAKING AN ILL MANNERED LOUT LIKE ME BACK LOLOL.:-) 2. Where are you from, The Northend of Springfield IL Where do u live now? In the country, north of Springfield IL soon enough the Ozarks in MO. 3. After coming into suicide 4, what made you decide to stay? Oh this is a long story I first found out about online spades 5 or 6 years ago. I played in a small league called playtyme but after a few months and a couple of brushs with an admin I felt it best that I leave, I bounced around from league to league not finding what I was looking for, I was a trained td (TY Nana) at the time with a few tours under my belt, a 100 or so. I found gazers by looking for a public league on the cases main pages listing the leagues. I found the people and league to my likings for the most part but the league it's was in a state of flux after a few days --- days mind -- you I found myself an HTD it was a whirl wind ride, then I found myself an admin and while I liked the position I found that I was unprepared for the weight I found on my shoulders. I held it together long enough to get rid of a couple of members who were a deterrient to the league. When offered the HA slot I found that I could not accept the position for fear of killing the league (I 'm not a people person i'm military through and through) so rather than be a road block to progress I left gazers, with a heavy heart, after a year or so and 200 or 300 tours, and played in another league and td'd there for a 100 tours or so but I found I was the odd duck there tolerated but not liked.so I left and asked to come back to gazers once again a td in blue where I was suppose to be I felt I was home. Till Lynn, lolol what a piece of work, we were like oil and water. Finally came down to her or me I pushed she cheated and got banned I left for the waste lands once again. Only to find myself once again welcomed What keeps you in gazers? Found out something here, this is where i'm suppose to be, hard headed as i am even I finally figured that out. 4. When do you play in gazers? nights and weekends I work the dayshift. 5. What is your favorite game? STREET SPADES no nils and run what ya brung and hope to hell ya brung enough. 6. What is your least favorite game? fire mirrors. We took that one off of the play list lololol. 7. What advice would you give to a new member or someone considering joining gazers? Treat everyone else as you would want them to treat you and you'll do fine. 8. Since both you and Cindy are members and occasionally both of you play or you play in a tourney that You is td'ing is there any problems or any competition between you 2? YES lolol when I have Cindy in one of my tours i have to pay special attention to show no favortisim period to anyone. I will have no one say that the staff plays favorites. 9. Is there a special memory of an event or anything that happened in gazers that you would like to share with other gazers? Yeah there are 2 of them. The first one a long time ago, seems like forever, we had a player name of "CHAS" gods what a piece of work the dog even hated this guy and he was the most ill mannered person I'd ever had the displeasure of being around. He wa running his mouth and the team I was on beat him on the last card of the last hand by 1 bag lolololol SWEET. Second one was winning the BOL with Nina, she she may well and still may be a nut case but by god we played like angry TITANS that night TRIPLES with EMMA
