suicide.nuts
January 2009

This month there are 2 Gazer Women being spotlighted! They are both very strong women who have carved their own spot in Stargazers. Neither of the 2 could be copied or replaced. We value each of them for what they bring to us.

The first will be suicide.nuts~~ our own HA. Judy is awesome!! She is fair, loyal, and there is no member that can't go and talk about a problem or issue with her. She has a very demanding job, but she is in gazers almost every night, either putting in a tourney, playing, or settling a dispute. (She also has NO problem in telling her staff what’s what either!!!) I know of nights she has sat up, handling other’s personal problems as well as league problems. We love ya, Nutty1. You rock!!!

4. What time do you usually play?

Play? Hmm, that’s a hard one to answer because it’s rare! But I am here most every evening and usually TD at least one tourney a day.

5. What is your favorite game?

I think the answer to this one is pretty obvious...at least I will get one right on this test! Suey of course!!!

6. What is your least favorite game?

Woo hooo, I'm going to get 2 right on this test....another obvious one for anyone who know me...mirrors of any sort. Mirrors are NOT my friend.

7. What advice would you give to a person considering joining Stargazers or having just joined?

This is a great league with a lot of wonderful people. Give people a chance and get to know them. We have some great players, but more than that you will find some really good friendships. There are a few turds just like everywhere but we are all great for the most part. Even I have my "turdy" moments! And remember that no one can win all the time. We all have our winning streaks just as we have losing streaks, so don't get discouraged.

8. Is there any story, or memory of an event that occurred in Stargazers that you would like to share with the other members?

There are so many wonderful memories of things happening in Stargazers. I've had tears in my eyes many times over the generosity and niceness of people. If I didn't see all the good things I wouldn't have been here for as long as I have. Everyone is special in their own way and I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful friends on here. I wouldn't mind having a hundred more Rick's but there are lots of very special and unique people here that are just as special in their own way.

9. You are an HTD, or Admin member. Why do you do this? There is no money or no rewards for some of the hassles you put up with. Why would you want to put your time into this when you could be doing something else?

What? I'm not gonna get paid? Geez, the things ya do for love! Truthfully, the reason I do this is because so many people here have been so wonderful to me and I want to make it a wonderful experience for others. It gives me an opportunity to leave the stress of the day behind and have some fun with friends and I hope that others have the same feeling. My goal as HA is to see that we all have fun and that things run as smoothly as possible. But....next year when we talk about football someone slap me so I don't volunteer to TD that one. It's a lot of fun to play but it's heck keeping up with the points on every table. Thank you all for being great sports about it!

No, Judy, Thank you for being so unselfish with your time and your love!! You truly are one of the best!! And thank you for always being there for ME!!
