Bernie: The 2nd person we are spotlighting is another awesome person! fangs_and_claws04 is a favorite in Stargazers. I knew Maria from another league and I was tickled to death when she joined Stargazers! She is a fair, honest, and loyal person...sound like a girl scout?? Heck no!! she can claw when she needs to!! LOL she just seldom needs to!

Maria: 1. Tell us about yourself. Your family, your hobbies, your work, anything you would like to know about someone else but in reverse. I'm married my husband and I are retired, we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. My hobbies are gardening, playing spades, putting together jigsaw puzzles and having family night Fridays.

2. Where are you from, where do you live now? I'm from Canada and I still reside in Canada.

3. After coming into suicide lounge 4, what made you stay? What keeps you in gazers? The dating game that Terry (tropical_stargazer) put on to help us to get used to playing with other members and find out who we play well with. The friendliness of the other members and TDs, they make u feel so welcome.

4. When do you play? Days, or hours? What do you give up in order to play? I try to play every evening if I can and play both the 10 pm and Midnight. If i dont make it for the 10pm then I just play the Midnight. I guess the only thing i give up is my sleep. :)

5. What is your favorite game? There are allot of different spade games that I like to play but, there really isn't one that I can call my favorite as I have many favorites and its too hard to choose between them.

6. What is your least favorite game? Ground Zero

7. What advice would you give to a new member or someone wanting to join gazers? Well if you want to learn how to play spades and have fun doing it or if your just tired of getting booted from tables because your rating is too low then come and join Stargazers because you won't ever get booted from a Stargazers table. We are a Fun Friendly League where your treated with respect.

8. Do you have a special memory of something that occured in gazers that you want to share with gazers? I remember the night of fuzzywuzzy_judy's 5th Anniversary as a Stargazer and there were 2 Gold Memberships being given to the Winning Team of Tourney. That was quite a night, there were alot of teams that night and alot of tough players to beat. My partner was addie_may_bee39 and we played very well together and it was the very first time we had ever parded. And we won the tourney and we both got the Gold Membership, I remember how exciting it was and how happy I felt because it was the first time in all the years that i have played spades online and been in different leagues that i have ever won anything like that. So Thank You again addie_may_bee39 for parding with me the night of Judy's 5th Anniversary and Thank You again Mark( unf0rgiven_skills) for the Gold Membership.
