Bernie: This month there are 2 Stargazer women being spotlighted! They are both very strong women who have carved their own spot in Stargazers. Neither of the 2 could be copied or replaced, we value each of them for what they bring to us.

Bernie: The next one to be profiled is our very own Bug! This one CAN NOT be reproduced!! You could try for a hundred years and not find one like Cricket!! Patti is another strong and awesome Stargazer!! She has gone thru so many personal struggles and she continues to maintain a wonderful attitude. She can make you laugh until you cry, and when I am crying, she can have me laughing in no time, and her streak of loyalty is a mile wide! She is one of my dearest friends and I could not imagine what I would do without her!

Bernie: 1.Tell us about yourself, your family, your work, your hobbies--anything you would want to know about someone else-- in reverse.

Patti: I have been married a little over a year now to my beautiful Brazilian hubby, Marcelo. I have 2 kids, one of each sex. Danielle is 21 and is in college getting her LPN - she will graduate in July. Brent is 19 and is planning on being a State Trooper - I dread it, but support his decision. I'm very proud of both of my children - they made decisions of what they wanted out of life and have stuck to it so far. I also have a gorgeous, precious grandson - Lakota Allan. If you're in Stargazers and haven't heard me mention Lakota at LEAST once, I must be slacking!!! LOL I don't work and Marcelo's work keeps him out of town, so I live in the computer room!!

Bernie: 2.Where are you from? Where do you live?

Patti: I was born in Newport News, Virginia - have moved TOO MANY times in my life - but have just recently passed my 3rd year living in Bassett, Virginia. GO ME!! lmao

Bernie: 3.After coming into suicide lounge 4, what made you decide to join Stargazers? What keeps you in the league?

Patti: I was 'led' to SSL4 by a friend that had been in another league I was in and had I recently left that league also. I came to SSL4 - joined that day - and the rest is history!! I stay in Stargazers because of the family atmosphere and the love that you honestly CAN feel when you come into the lobby.

Bernie: 4. What time do you usually play?

Patti: After midnight. I stay up wayyy past. I usually play from at LEAST 12 noon until stupid O'Clock MANY nights and just let the birds sing me to sleep!! lol : O)

Bernie: 5. What is your favorite game?

Patti: Wow! Hard question - I have quite a few favorite games that I HATE missing!! I guess I would have to say 'Anything Goes' is one of my favorites. I also love to play 'Musical Chairs' and 'Minus One'.

Bernie: 6. What is your least favorite game?

Patti: HAHA!! You have to ask?? lmao W O O D E N N I C K L E ! ! ! (sorry Shaun!!! Lol)

Bernie: 7. What advice would you give to a person considering joining Stargazers or having just joined?

Patti: First off, I welcome ever new member, and as we all do - introduce myself. I tell them that they will never find another league like ours, that we are the BEST!!! I tell them we are one big happy family (no Krystal, PLZ don't start singing the "Barney" song!!- lol), and that no matter what, we all stick together and are always there for each other.

Bernie: 8. Is there any story, or memory of an event that occurred in Stargazers that you would like to share with the other members?

Patti: We will ALL remember Rick forever! He IS truly the true star of 'Stargazers' and he brought a lot of smiles to our faces daily!! He was always the good sport - no matter what!!! But there is another memory I will NEVER forget for as long as I live that I can't exactly 'share'. But OMG, how I would love to!!! All I have to do is think of it or talk about it and my ribs are killing me - tears running down my face and all - Thank You Caspy - Muahhhhhs!!! ---------------------" MEOW "

Bernie: 9. You are an HTD. Why do you do this? There is no money or no rewards for some of the hassles you put up with. Why would you want to put your time into this when you could be doing something else?

Patti: I LOVE being an HTD here in 'Stargazers'! Although there is no 'money or rewards' so to speak - I get my reward by being able to run tourneys so people can play spades. I may be an HTD, but I too love to play - so I know how it feels to 'want' to play but can't because there are no tourneys in. I could be doing other things when I'm running tours, but I wouldn't be having as much fun doing the other things as I would running tourneys for my fellow 'Gazers' Thank you for wanting to spotlight me this month - it is truly an honor!!! U AWESOME A LOT!!! Hugsssss From Da Bugggggg!!!!!!!!
