btrpaso September 2008 Bernie: Lynne is an “old” member returning to Stargazers. If you even play occasionally in Stargazers, you will know who she is. She is sweet, funny, and an all around great person. I am happy to count her as a special friend and if you take the time to talk to her, you will too. Lynne answered her questions in a different manner and I loved it! So here is her responses, and Lynne Thanks for coming back, and this time don’t you dare leave again!! YANK! Lynne: HUGS BERNI! OK HERE GOES LOL! It all began roughly 6 years ago when my husband bought me my first PC and I didn’t have a clue how to use one. I had some free time as we had moved to the country for my horses but I am a surgical assistant by trade. I loved to play cards and I started to play spades online since I grew up playing that particular game many moons ago. Then I saw they had league play and asked if I may join them and gave them my score finding out that didn't matter -it was all for FUN. And guess who my very FIRST partner was? SCARLETT! And we won the tournament. After that I became quite addicted and played day and night. Then when Stargazers opened I was there to open the doors, once again playing all the time. While in Stargazers, I arranged a trip for all league members and friends to meet in Las Vegas and it turned out to be a huge success. There were 18 of us and we all did things together and even took time out to play a tournament of Spades! There was so much laughter and fun during this whole trip that no other vacation after that was quite as fun-imagine that! As things happen, life took a turn and we all formed our own league and somehow I ended up as Head Admin-lucky ME! LOL! After 3 years I had to turn the league over to someone else as there was family to tend to and hit a bump in the road. That league is under a new name and one of the largest on that site. So they have done us proud! My passion is Paso Fino horses hence the name PASO and BTR is Born To Ride which is also a television show my husband produces about motorcycles. Living in Florida it is a must for water sports which I have done for many years -except parasailing. I cannot see myself hanging from a string attached to a boat flying over the gulf in the air! What keeps me going each day is my family and a zest for life. I have 2 daughters 32 and 31 and 2 grandsons 13 and 5 and a wonderful husband of 20 years. I live by the quote" LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY". That would certainly describe my "quirky" and quick witted nature. So grab your Depends if you are at my table playing! My goal in life is to make one person smile a day. They may need a laugh when things are down and I am just the person to do it! Online and offline I am the same person- giddy, quirky and calming the waters by turning a bad situation into a good one. Now that life has taken another turn, I was able to get back online and play cards. I went back to "square one" so to speak to Stargazers where I had made many online friends and wanted to rekindle our friendships.
