milk_man_1954 August 2008 James is very special to the league. When going into his profile, it’s amazing. There are very few awards that he has not won. While talking to him about this, he made sure I knew that the 1 award he was most proud of was the Good Sportsmanship Award. I believe he was the first to receive this award in Stargazers. And I think he still deserves this award. When he enters the lobby he hugs all and he is hugged by most. (Some of the guys do the high 5 thingy.) He is always among the first to offer his bux if any member runs short or if any TD needs them for a tourney, and for special tourneys, he seldom fails to offer a Gold membership. On August 31, he will have been in Stargazers for 5 years. There were several questions that were put to James. Here were the Questions and Answers. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF: Father of 3, his daughter AnnaMarie will graduate from Alabama this year with a masters degree and a 4.0 grade average, 2 sons James Jr and Billy were both in the Army, James Jr. recently returned from Iraq. He is a very proud father. James is a sports fanatic with Alabama being top dog. WHERE ARE YOU FROM: Alabama WHAT MADE YOU COME TO STARGAZERS AND WHAT KEEPS YOU IN STARGAZERS: James had been in another league, and his daughter told him about STARGAZERS starting up and thought it was a place he would enjoy being.(Thank you, Anna!!) The friends he has made and come to love like family is what keeps him in Stargazers. WHEN DO U PLAY: Usually evenings and weekends WHAT IS FAVORITE GAME: regular with nil and mirrors WHICH IS LEAST FAVORITE: suicide WHAT WOULD YOU TELL A NEW MEMBER OR SOMEONE WANTING TO JOIN: This league is the best on the Internet. The members are awesome. A SPECIAL MEMORY TO SHARE: I came into Stargazers when my wife was very sick and dying, and Stargazers helped me keep my mind together. I could not have made it without my Stargazer family to help me thru that time. I love my Stargazer family very much and they have proven over and over what good friends they are! Then Rick came into Stargazers, he was a soft hearted young man going thru what my wife had went thru. Stargazers wrapped their arms around Rick, accepted him, and loved him.
