ACTIVITY LOG - INSTRUCTIONS
MyLeague Plus only saves 60 days of activity logs. To provide a longer history of league activity, daily logs are saved to Excel.
- Open the Excel file Activity Log.
- Select the SORT SHEET tab.
- Select EDIT, CLEAR, ALL to remove old data.
- Login to ADMIN MENU - SEARCH LOG
- Select the date you wish to copy. Select only one date at a time because MyLeague sorts backwards by date.
- Select all lines of data and Copy/Paste them to the SORT SHEET tab of the Activity Log Excel file.
- If you are updating more than one day, repeat steps 5-6 for each date in chronological order. Paste the new data directly below the previous day's data.
- When you have finished copying your data from the LOG, select column A by clicking on the "A" and highlighting the entire column.
- Select DATA, TEXT TO COLUMNS.
- Click the circle next to FIXED WIDTH and click NEXT.
- Remove all of the break lines (the first 4) except the ones after the YEAR and after the CATEGORY (HTDLogin, S-Edit, etc) by double clicking each one.
- Move the break line after the year to the right one notch by clicking on it and dragging it.
- Move the break line after the categories to the right, just before the narrative. Use your mouse to click and drag.
- Click NEXT.
- Click FINISH.
- Click EDIT, SELECT ALL to highlight the data.
- Click DATA, SORT, then Sort by Column B Ascending. All of the data should be sorted by Category now.
- A few of the categories (E-mail, Password, Renamed) may show 2 or 3 letters of data from the following column. If so, manually correct these now. Remove the letters from column B and add them to the beginning of the narrative in column C.
- Some of the data is of no value and may be deleted. Select rows with HTDLogin in column B and click EDIT, DELETE.
- Select rows with Match in column B and click EDIT, DELETE.
- Select rows with TDLogin in column B and click EDIT, DELETE.
- Select the remaining rows and click EDIT, COPY.
- PASTE the rows into the first available row in the CURRENT MONTH tab.
- In the CURRENT MONTH tab, click EDIT, SELECT ALL, DATA, SORT, then Sort by Column B Ascending. All of the month's data will now be sorted by Category.
- Right click the CURRENT MONTH tab and RENAME it to correspond with the period of data currently saved (i.e. Nov 1-16).
- Create a new worksheet at the start of each new month. Right click a tab and select INSERT, WORKSHEET. Rename the new worksheet tab.
- SAVE the file.
