STARGAZERS

   The 50 FIRST DATES Contest (the Contest) has returned so get ready for some dating fun. The contest is open to all members of Stargazers in good standing. The Contest awards points (Dates) to members in return for partnering other members for the FIRST TIME during the Contest. It's all pretend, so have fun with it!

   Playing is simple. Find someone you have not yet partnered during the contest. Make a team & play. Earn a point. By chance, you may also earn points on Auto or in Random Partner tourneys. A details webpage will be provided to help you track your dates. You may partner someone as often as you wish, but for the Contest you only get points for FIRST DATES.

   The Contest will run from 10 AM 1 March through Midnight 31 March 2012. Tournaments included in the Contest will be all "even-hour" tourneys from 10 AM to Midnight each day. The 8 tourneys each day (248 tourneys for the Contest) will be 10 AM, Noon, 2 PM, 4 PM, 6 PM, 8 PM, 10 PM & Midnight. The type of game does not matter for the Contest.

FIRST DATE points will be awarded as follows:

• Partner someone for the first time (Team, Auto or Random Pard) during the contest ~ 1 Point Awarded
• Partner someone additional times during the contest ~ No Points Awarded
• Points will be awarded for entirely completed tourneys only.
• Substitutes who sit an entire tourney will receive the FIRST DATE (if applicable) for that tourney.
• Players and substitutes for partial games are not eligible for FIRST DATE points.
• Directors will be awarded a FIRST DATE (if applicable) with Player 1 of the 1st seeded team in their tourney.

   TD's should notify tropical_stargazer@yahoo.com for member or TD substitution credits. Do not send this information by IM because not all offlines are received.

LadderBux will be awarded as follows:
• 25 FIRST DATES = 500 LadderBux.
• 30 FIRST DATES = 1000 additional LadderBux.
• 40 FIRST DATES = 1500 additional LadderBux.
• 50 FIRST DATES = 2000 additional LadderBux.
• Every 10 additional FIRST DATES over 50 = 2000 additional LadderBux.
• Additional prizes to be determined.

   FIRST DATES will be tracked by Terry (tropical_stargazer) and posted by rank and alphabetically. Any challenges to the accuracy of the posted data should be sent to tropical_stargazer@yahoo.com for Admin review. Unreported "sub credits" should be coordinated through the TD in charge of the tourney in which you subbed. All Admin decisions are final.

   Members are not allowed to share their ID with anyone else, including same household persons. Any ID used by anyone other than the member will forfeit all FIRST DATES awarded and be banned from the Contest.

   Cheating will forfeit all FIRST DATES awarded and result in a ban from the Contest along with the existing league rules for cheating. All league rules apply to all tourneys included in the Contest.

   Withdrawal from Stargazers automatically forfeits all FIRST DATES awarded prior to withdrawal. Actions resulting in being removed and/or banned from Stargazers forfeits all FIRST DATES awarded prior to the removal/ban.
