Top Five Specific Rules:
1. A challenge match should be played between #1 and #2 at least every 2
days. If the challenge has not been played within 2 days, both will be
deranked to #50 irregardless of who is at fault. The game should be in a
best 2 out of 3 format with the #1 player making the first table, #2 making
the second table and #1 making the third table if necessary.
2. The only position that is bump-free is the #2 position. #1 should not
play #3 or #4 until the challenge match has been played (tourneys are exempt
from this rule).
3. Top five players are not allowed to ask to be deranked until after all
reports are in, except in situation where it is a Cases technical
difficulty.
4. Members of the same household cannot be in the Top five at the same
time.
New Timing Rule for Round Robin Tourneys:
When a Td is invited to the Table for a MIA in a Round Robin Tourney- The TD will
time for 5 minutes. Once those 5 minutes are up the TD will then have the host
invite a sub.
If the player returns prior to the 10 minute mark then the sub will stand and the
player will take their rightful seat.
Should the missing player not return by the 10 minute mark, then they are Dq’d as is
normal practice and that players opp is advanced win or lose.
This will not apply to finals
We are hoping that this will allow RR tourneys to progress somewhat faster.
2 vs 2 Tourneys will remain at 10 minutes per Round
Playing on any Table (including Table 1)
You must play on whatever table the host chooses. If someone wants a
table you are holding (private tables not allowed), you must relinquish
it to them.
Only one person is allowed to be on the held table and you
