Race Day Tuesdays and Saturdays are Race Days in 4Fun These days are for our members! Race Days are FAST! It is always a race to get in the tournaments. Race Day is based on a "first come, first serve" basis, so be quick on your fingers! This is a great way to get better acquainted with some of the members in the league you may not know. Here are some simple things to look for on race days All singles tournaments on Race Day close once 4 members have joined. All doubles tournaments close once 8 members have joined. Doubles tournaments on Race Day are also all RANDOM partners. (The expection to this rule is Special Events Tournaments which are marked "SE") No DE, Swiss or multi tournaments will be hosted on Race Days, unless it is a Special event. Requests We take requests! On Race day you may request in the lobby for a particular tournament to be hosted. At times there will be several open tournaments on the calendar and your request will be placed on a "list" to be made ASAP. The staff try to keep the lobby hopping so please be patient. If you have requested a tournament and it did not make it on the list, please kindly ask a TD again for your tournament as they may have missed it in the lobby talking as Race Days are busy days. YOU CAN STILL ONLY BE IN 2 TOURNAMENTS AT ONE TIME If you miss out on a tournament you wanted in just ask, and if a TD is available, they will make another just like it! Hard working Staff! The staff at 4Fun will do their best to accommodate your request Please be patient when requesting a tournament, or getting the attention of a host Race Day is a busy day for staff and members Remember, we are all on the same team! Things for TD's, HTD's and ADMIN to Remember: Beginning of Race Day At the very beginning of any Race Day it is always nice to see a couple tournaments already in place and ready to go soon as midnight hits. It is now being limited to only 2 TOURNAMENTS PER STAFF MEMBER can be set before midnight. Soon as midnight hits you are more than welcome to take requests or make additional tournaments, but having only 2 per staff member ensures that all staff can participate. How to make your tournament Please set all your tournaments for this day as 2 rounds (3 for singles) As soon as your tournament fills close it and run it ALL DOUBLES ARE TO BE SET AS RANDOM PARTNERS ONLY When to make your tournaments You can make your tournaments in any time slot, doubles, singles. The only time there are preset tournaments on Race Day is if they are a "Training" or "Special Events" tournament Who Spams We found it best if all staff spammed their own tournaments If you spam several tournaments, the max lines is 3 Please if you find a TD swamped or they can't fill one of their tournaments help them out. Making Requests When making a request, please type "Making HITS" or "Got KING ME" or something similar so that the other staff that are in the lobby see that you are making the request. This will prevent duplicate tournaments. If you already have several tournaments open, please give other staff a chance to take a request or two before making more requests. The more we spread out the tournaments between us, the better quality of tournaments the members get. How many tournaments can you make? You can make as many tournaments as you wish, some staff find it easy to have some premade tournaments for back up set for the next year so they can move a tournament in quickly. (Please make sure the proper rules are on the rules page) ONLY MAKE WHAT YOU CAN HANDLE Help your fellow staff out. It is always nice to see the staff helping each other out every day but particularly on days like this. Be courteous to fellow staff in the lobby on race day, if there are a large amount of open tournaments on the calendar do not put up any more requests until a few tournaments have filled. USE YOUR HEAD! It is okay to have a list of requests waiting to be made. Working as a team only helps the day go smoother. If members want in a tournament that is full, an easy way to fix this is to make another one for them if you can. It's always nice to see TD donations on these tournaments because members do not get a lot of bux for these tournaments. Remember there will be times that there is more than 1 tournament in a time spot and that is OK. THE MORE TOURNAMENTS, THE BETTER! And a reminder to all - Members play alot of tournaments on these days, and these days are for them! Staff works very hard to please ALL members on these days, and the best compliment a TD can receive is patience! Race Day has been a blast for staff and members alike Have Fun, Enjoy the day, and remember, we are all human Mistakes will happen, on the part of staff and members How we handle them is the KEY to a successful Race Day! No Doubles can be made after 11:30 pm on Race Days. No other Race Day tournaments can be made after 11:50pm on Race Days. All Race Day tournaments must be running by 11:59pm on Race Day!!
