4Fun is going to have some fun playing Monopoly on Mondays! Each Monday every tournament win will earn you Monopoly Bux. The goal is to be the first to fill in your entire Monopoly Board so that it looks like the example below. So here is how this works. Every NT/NTC tournament you win is worth 5 Monopoly Bux Every PU tournament you win is worth 10 Monopoly Bux To earn Electric Company you need 5 Swiss tournament wins To earn TD Tax you need 5 Swiss tournament wins (you earn these after you win Electric Company) To earn Water Works you need 5 Double Elimination tournament wins To earn HTD Tax you need 5 Double Elimination tournament wins (you earn these after you win Water Works) Community Chest and Chance pieces can only be won on special tournaments Please note that if you win a Swiss or DE you do NOT earn Monopoly Bux as well UNLESS you have already earned your Electric Company, Water Works, TD Tax and/or HTD Tax. Please be on the lookout for the following type of specials run only on Mondays with the event: Go To The Box - Win this tournament and place someone in "The Box" which stops them from earning Monopoly Bux the following Monday Moneybags Giveaway - Win this tournament and earn yourself an extra 50 Monopoly Bux Community Chest Giveaway - Win this tournament and earn yourself a Community Chest piece for your Monopoly Board Chance Giveaway - Win this tournament and earn yourself a Chance piece for your Monopoly Board Some more information If you get placed in "The Box" you are then given the choice to pay the $50 fine and get out so that you can still earn on the following Monday OR to remain there until the Monday after. Effective April 2012 If you are in the Monopoly Box and do not pay to get yourself out, you are not able to win ANY of the Monopoly specials while you are in the box. This means if you win the Moneybags, you do not earn an extra 50 bux, if you win the Go To The Box special, you do not get to box anyone. The Community Chest and Chance specials work the same way and will not be able to be won by someone in the Monopoly Box. Instead the special prize will become null and void until the next week. PRIZES 1st to complete their Monopoly Board - 1 year Platinum Membership 2nd to complete their Monopoly Board - 1 year Gold Membership 3rd to complete their Monopoly Board - 10,000 Ladderbux Please Note: On the Platinum Membership, since the money for this is coming out of the Admin's pocket (not our revenue share) we will pay monthly for your membership. We also will require you to be an active member in 4Fun. This includes playing in at least 25 tournaments a month. If we find that you are not being active we will stop the payments on your account.
