From the kitchen of: Sweet_Nancy
Peachy Praline Pie
Filling:
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup tapioca
4 cups sliced peaches
1 ½ tsp lemon juice
Mix filling ingredients. Let sit 15 min.
Topping
1/3 cup brown sugar packed
¼ cup flour
½ cup chopped pecans
3 Tablespoons butter
Mix topping ingredients, mixing in butter til crumbly.
Sprinkle 1/3 mixture on bottom of unbaked 9” pie shell.
Cover with peaches.
Top with remaining mixture.
Bake 400 about 40 minutes.
Puzz: How long have you been playing euchre?
Maverick_1 – Started out in Yahoo then came to Safe Harbor over 10
years in euchre.
Puzz: How do you like playing here at the ranch?
Maverick_1 – Well lol I did start the league. I am very happy in how far we have come.
The people here are great and fun to hang out with for sure.
I can not be any more pleased with the league than
I am right now and all it entails.
Puzz: What is your favorite euchre game?
Maverick_1 – Have a few but my favorite would be VETO, there is
not more satisfying then to yell VETO so someone can not play their hand lol
Puzz:
Who is it that you want to beat in Euchre the most?
Maverick_1 – You and Nancy the most your always on my heels at
the tables. Lol Honestly, it don’t matter who I beat as long as I win.
Puzz: Where do you live?
Maverick_1 – I have a home in Colorado and in Ohio
Puzz: Do you have any hobbies?
Maverick_1 – Besides euchre, I have love going 4 wheeling,
ride the horses, mudd running, workout,
camping, travel, ride the Harley and just hanging
out with the kid.
Puzz: Do you have a favorite movie
Maverick_1 – Sweet Girl starring Jason Momoa and Isabela Moner,
it’s a for sure thrill and just when you think you got it all
figured out the ending will floor you.
Then there is The Net with Sandra Bullock,
all I can say is O>M>G if you like thrilling on the edge of
your seat type movies watch this for
sure, I wonder what I would do in this situation and I bet you will to.
Puzz: favorite song or genre?
Maverick_1 – Some Country but I am a old Rock and Roll type.
Far as a favorite song, Amazing Grace is one of a kind and I
can remember to this day when I listened to my mom at her piano
singing this song I will never forget it,
You will always be my amazing grace mom.
