NEVEREST RULES
Updated 10/01/2016

**The hosting TD will post pairings in the lobby and the first players listed in the pairings are responsible for making tables.

**The hosting TD is responsible for his/her tourney. If there are issues, the hosting TD has the final say.

**Tourneys should close on time. Please do not wait until the last minute to register.

**Do not register for another tourney if you are still playing in a tourney.

**Staff may play and sub in a tourney. This should only be done if there are not enough members in the lobby to sub.

**Finals for any tourney may be played to 5 instead of 10 to save time if those playing in finals agree. If one player does not agree then the finals tourney will be played to 10.

**For those playing in other leagues, you CANNOT play in two or more leagues at the same time. This is a Case's rule. If it is determined that a player is playing in two or more leagues at the same time, it will be an automatic DQ from our tourney.

**Please read game rules when you register for a tourney. If you have any questions, please ask hosting TD before tourney starts.

**Slow play is discouraged. Slow play is not appreciated by Members or Staff. A slow play warning may be given and a second slow play warning will result in a DQ.

**Table talk is not permitted. Table talk is anything that reveals the content of what is in your hand while hand is still in play. If table talk does occur, the hosting TD will give a warning and DQ if necessary.

** We do not encourage personal chat in YAHOO or SHG or voice chat while playing. If it is determined that members are cheating in that manner, they will be automatically DQ'd.

**Members who live in the same household are not allowed to be partners in a tourney or sub for one another in any tourney games. If both members in same household are entered in the same tourney and CASE's pairs them they will be allowed to play together.

**There should be NO NEGATIVE comments made during play at the tables or in the chat. If there are issues, TD hosting tourney should take issues to messenger immediately.

**ALL members and staff are expected to treat everyone with respect. Please watch your language the "F" word should never be used.....ever!! Abusive members will be warned and further action will be taken if problems persist.

**Unless game rules state otherwise, there are no loners allowed on 8 or 9. To go alone on 8 or 9 will be a boo.

**In 1v1 (Swiss or any game format playing to 5 or 10) only one boo is allowed per player per team. The second boo by the same player will result in a DQ.

**2v2 (Swiss or any game format played to 5 or 10) only one boo is allowed per team per tourney. A second boo will result in team DQ.

**3v3(any game format played to 5 or 10) only one boo is allowed per team per tourney. The second boo will be a DQ.

**If a boo is made, the person to the left of the person who booed will have the option to have the deal skipped 1 or two times. No skips are to be made without hosting TD saying to do so. The number of skips is not to be discussed by non-booing team. Left of person who booed decides the number of skips.

**There are no fixable boos at all.

**No boos are allowed in finals. A boo in finals of a game is an automatic DQ. If a

**If a sub boos the boo rule will apply. Person left of the one who booed will decide 1 or 2 skips.

**Game Timer --- there is a 5 min timer for round one for games played to 10. Timer should be posted in lobby, i.e. TT01 or TT801

**If a player is not present at time of table postings a sub may be used until that player shows as long as they show within the 5 minutes. The sub will stand and let player sit. If after the 5 minutes that player who has not shown sub will continue play and the no show player is DQ'd.

**For the remaining rounds there is a 3 minute timer (for games played to 10).

**Timer for all QUICKIE tourneys is 3 minutes regardless of rounds.

**In 2v2 tourneys (Swiss or any game format), if a partner is missing they will be timed for 5 minutes or 3 minutes depending on the round. If the missing partner is a no show or times out then the team is DQ'd . There will be no subs allowed.

**In Double Elimination tourneys you must lose twice before you are eliminated, so don't leave the lobby until you have lost twice. If your team makes 2 boos you are DQ'd from tourney. If you one or the other team mate times out your first time out will count as a loss and the second time out will result in a DQ.
