BOWERs RULE

If you have the same suit Jack as the up card
You must call that suit trump
If the up card is a JACK
The Dealer must take it up
If all players pass the up card
The 1st player with a JACK must call that suit trump
Example: If the up card is a Spade
and you have the Jack of Spades
You must call Spades trump
Loners Allowed
2 Pts Error
