Tea cakes



Ingredients

2/3 c butter 3 2/3 c flour
1 1/2 c sugar 2 1/2 teas.Baking powder
2 eggs 2 teas.Vanilla
4 tablespoon milk

Directions

Cream butter, gradually add sugar & beat well
Add eggs and beat well after each, add milk
And beat well after each. Combine flour and baking Powder well
and stir into creamy mixture, add vanilla, Stir well
chill in refrigerator.
Roll dough out on Floured surface 1/4 inch thick
cut out and place On lightly greased cookie sheet
bake at 400' 8 min.
(sprinkle with colored sugar before baking)
