Ingredients

2 CUPS SUGAR
3/4 CUPS KARO
1/2 CUPS BUTTER (1 STICK)
2 CUPS WHIPPING CREAM ( 2 PINTS)

PUT SUGAR, KARO, BUTTER, AND
1 CUP OF THE WHIPPING CREAM INTO A LARGE HEAVY PAN
BRING SLOWLY TO A BOIL OVER MED HEAT.
STIRRING CONSTANTLY. SLOWLY
ADD ONE MORE CUP OF WHIPPING CREAM.
STIR FREQUENTLY AS IT DARKENS.
COOK 245* (HARD BOIL)
DO A WATER CHECK (SOFT BALL)
POUR INTO A LIGHTLY GREASED 10 X 10 PAN
COOL, CUT INTO SMALL PIECES AND WRAP IN WAXED PAPER
