Beautiful Losers Tourney Game Rules

Say GL and GG before and after each match.
Report wins/losses in the lobby by TD or tourney type.
All games are played on protected rated tables, unless otherwise stated in the rules.


2 vs 2 Best of 3
- Player 1 plays Player 1 on other team.
- Player 2 plays Player 2 on the other team.
- If one team wins both games, they advance.
- If both teams win a game, the winning players play a 3rd and deciding match.
- Winning team advances.
- If partner does not show up for the tourney, TD can either time them or Allow a substitute partner.

1 - 2 - 3
- Played on UN-rated, Protected tables.
- A little like a traditional 9-ball pool game.
- Balls are numbered and you must pot them in numerical order.
- Order: 1 - yellow solid; 2 - blue solid; 3 - red solid; 4 - purple solid;
5 - orange 6 green solid; 7 -brown solid; 8 - black solid;
- yellow stripe; 10 - blue stripe; 11 - red stripe;
12 - purple stripe; 13 - orange stripe; 14 - green stripe; 15 - brown stripe.
- If the correct ball is potted with another ball, just carry on.
- If you pot a ball out of order, you must tap and to opponent(no ball in hand).
Player who pots the 15 last wins.
- If 15 goes in earlier on accident, use the next highest ball - 14, etc.

10 Shot
- Played on Training table.
- No BIH.
- First person listed in pairings breaks and shoots first.
- You get 10 shots to sink as many balls as you can.
- Break counts as first shot.
- Ball potted during scratch does NOT count.
- Balls can be shot in any order.
- Be sure to keep score of your shots and ball count.
Score is to be kept on table where opponent can see.

4 Corners
- You must pocket all balls into the 4 corner pockets. In other words,
you CAN NOT use the two middle pockets.
- If you make one in the middle, you must tap to your opponent.
- If you make one in the middle while making one of yours in the corner,
then you can continue shooting.
- The break does NOT count.

4 Corners Twisted
- Played the same as 4 Corners, but you must pot the 8 ball into

either to Top Middle or Bottom Middle pockets.

4 Poster Bed
- Played on Rated, tables.
- Played like Reg 8 but, the 8 must to go into Corner pockets Only.
- If 8 ball goes in Middle pockets you lose.

8 In The Middle
- Played on Rated, tables.
- Played like Reg 8 but, the 8 MUST go into either of the 2 Middle pockets Only.
- If 8 ball goes into any other pocket it is a loss.

Alphabet
- Game played on Rated tables.
- You MUST sink your balls in this order,
Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, and Yellow. (Alphabetical order).
- If you sink the wrong ball, tap to your opponent.
- If you sink one ball in the right order and another goes in, it is still your turn.
- 8 ball is still to be sunk last.

Anger Management
- Played on Rated, tables.
- You can Trash Talk your opponent during the match, as long as it is not offensive/abusive.
- This is not a tournament to disregard all league rules.
Remember, aimer accusations are not permitted at ANY time.
- Offensive or Abusive behaviour will result in being disqualified from the match.

Anything Goes
- This game is played on Rated, tables.
- Played like Reg 8 with one exception.
- Anything the pool table allows, is allowed in this tourney.
- Which include snookers/safeties, tapping and taking BIH(ball in hand),
basically anything allowed in this game.

Banks and Combos
- Every ball you make must be made by a bank shot or a combo shot.
- A bank shot is when you bank the ball off an opposite rail of the pocket it is going into
or bank the cue ball off an opposite rail of the pocket you are making a ball.
- A combo is when you use another ball to make a ball.
Example: You hit the cue ball into the orange ball and the orange ball
hits the blue ball and sinks the blue.
- If a ball goes in without doing either of these, you must tap to your opponent.
- The break does not count.

Bank One Ball and Call It
- You get to choose which ball you want to bank in this tourney.
- You MUST CALL the ball and pocket before banking for it to count. Example: Red, top right.
- You can change the ball you want to bank if you miss, as many times as you want.
- Cue banks DO NOT count.
- The break does not count.

Bank Robbery
- Play On Rated tables.
- No bank shots are allowed at any time. This includes cue banks.
- If a bank occurs, you must tap to your opponent.
- However, if you make a regular shot and an accidental bank occurs, play on.

Bank 8 Only
- Bank the 8 ball into the pocket. Failure to do so is a loss.
- Short banks Do Not count (must bank off an opposite rail).

Bank 8 or Q
- Bank either the 8 ball into the pocket or the cue ball into the 8
(and into the pocket). Failure to do so is a loss.
- Short banks Do Not count (must bank off an opposite rail).

Bank Them All
- Play as Regular 8 ball with one exception: you MUST bank every shot.
No cue ball banks are allowed.

Bar Pool
- Played on Rated Table
- Played like Reg 8 ball, with small differences.
- If you scratch, you must ONLY have BIH behind the line, and shoot forward up table.
- BIH on table anywhere else is NOT ALLOWED.
- If you pocket 8 ball off the break it is an Automatic WIN.

Baseball ~ True Swiss 9 Rounds
- TD will announce Game type.
- Once you have lost 3 times you are out.
- 3 strikes, and you're out!
- Last Person standing in the 9th inning is the winner!!!
- Timers on this swiss tourney: 5 min - 1st strike, 4 min - 2nd strike, and 3 min - 3rd strike.
(ONLY if ID is present in lobby... Otherwise timers stand at 5 min per round).

Black and Blue
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played as Reg 8, but the 8 ball must be pocketed into the same pocket as your blue ball.
- Blue ball can be potted at any time.

Bottomless
- The break does NOT count.
- You may only shoot the balls in the TOP Pockets.
- If you pot one in the BOTTOM Pockets, you must tap to your opponent.

Broken Arrow
- Plays like a Reg 8 ball, until the sinking of the 8 ball.
- The 8 ball must be pocketed into the bottom middle only.

Call All Shots
- You must call all shots (red - bottom right) in order for them to count.
- If you do not call a shot or make it in wrong pocket, you must tap to your opponent.

Call Opponents 8 Before the Break
- Before the break, each person will call what pocket the other has to make the 8 ball into.
- That is the pocket they must pot the 8 into.

Call Your 8 Before the Break
- Before the break, each person will call the pocket they will pot the 8 into.
- That is the pocket they must pot the 8 in.

Coaching
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played like regular 8. You pick any league player in the room to coach you.
- A person may only coach one game at a time. Coach calls ball and pocket.
- You must attempt to make every shot your coach calls.
If you pot your object ball and another ball keep shooting.
- If you make any other shot, not called, tap to opponent.

Colored Ball First
- Played on Rated tables.
- You must sink the ball chosen by the TD first. Example, yellow ball first.
- If you DO NOT sink the chosen ball first, on purpose or by accident, you lose.
- Breaks DO NOT count.
- If, while shooting the chosen ball, another ball goes in, it is okay
as long as you sink the chosen ball.

Colored Ball Last
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played just like regular 8 (Unless Specified Otherwise).
- You MUST SAVE THAT colored ball until the last shot before the 8 ball.
- Making that colored ball early (yours or your opps) results in an
automatic cancellation of that game and the opponent advancing.

CopyCat
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played like Reg 8 EXCEPT you must match color for color with your opponent.
- EX: If your opponent shoots in his green, then you MUST shoot in your green ball.
If they shoot in the yellow you MUST shoot in the yellow ball.
- Any ball made out of order tap to your opponent,
keep ball order in table chat so you know what you have to pot.

Default/8
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played as Regular 8ball, BUT the 8ball MUST be potted in TOP MIDDLE pocket!

Dirty Pool - Shady Pockets
- Played at Rated tables.
- Game is played as Regular 8, until on the 8.
- You must b8/q into top or bottom MIDDLE pockets only.
- You must alternate between top middle, bottom middle pockets
on each attempt to pot the 8.

Double Elimination
- Game is played as anything TD chooses.
- ALL Players must lose twice to be out of tourney, so if you lose once,
DO NOT leave. YOU still have a chance of winning tourney.
- After first LOSS, you will be placed in LOWER
bracket and play again until you LOSE a second game.

Double Penetration
- Played on Rated tables.
- ALL balls must be pocketed in the TOP LEFT and BOTTOM RIGHT pockets ONLY.
- If you pocket a ball in the other pockets you must tap and give turn to opponent.

Down the Middle
- All balls must go into the Side (middle) pockets.
- No balls allowed in corner pockets (including on break).
- A ball made in a corner pocket (including the break), you must tap to your opponent.

Dynamite
- Played on Rated tables.
- Game is played as Regular 8.
- BUT, you must use FULL POWER and FULL ENGLISH on every shot.
(Full english is english all the way to whatever side you are choosing).

First Pocket
- Shoot the 8 ball into the pocket your first ball went into (whether you shot it or not).
- So be sure you note the pocket where the first ball drops into.
- Make sure to call your pocket right after your first ball is sunk so there is
clarity between you and your opponent.

Flawless
- Played on a Rated tables, Cancel the game if needed.
- First person to give BIH to opponent loses.
- The match is played like a regular 8 ball game if a flaw does not occur.
- Breaks Do Not count.

Flip-Flop
- Played on Rated tables.
- Regular 8 ball rules.
- The twist to this one is that if you sink a ball in the Top pockets,
your next ball must be potted into a Bottom pockets.
- Continue in this way until all balls are potted.
- If you pot a ball into the wrong pocket, you must tap
the cue and give opponent ball in hand.

Forbidden Pocket
- This game is played on Rated tables.
- The Object of this game is to clean the table along the Regular 8 rules.
- The difference is the TD will announce a pocket at the beginning of the
tourney/round that you are not allowed to shoot at.
- If you do so - on accident or on purpose - You Lose!
- The cue ball scratching in the forbidden pocket does not count as an
auto-loss unless of course it's with the 8 ball.
- The break does not count. If a ball is pocketed in the
forbidden pocket on the break, continue with game.

Full English
- Played on Rated tables.
- You must use full English on all shots.
- English must be set to full each shot (that is as far as it will go).
- Then you may shoot.
- Failing to have correct English, will result in you giving ball in
>hand to your opponent by slightly tapping the cue.

Full Power
- Played on Rated tables.
- You must use full power on all shots.
- That is the power bar at maximum power allowed.
- Please make sure your opponent sees your power bar before shooting.
If you forget, you must tap and give opponent ball in hand.
- Invite TD for problems.

Guys and Gals
- Played on Rated tables.
- Guys must sink the blue ball last / Gals must sink the red ball last before you go for the 8.
- If you sink your blue/red ball while you have other balls on the table, you lose the game.
- If you sink your opponents blue/red ball at any time, you lose as well.

Hit and Hope
Played on Training tables.
You get 5 shots to pot as many balls as possible to get a total score.
The break counts as 1 shot, a miss counts as 1 shot. If you pot the
it can be picked up and placed anywhere behind the line and your turn resumed.
The winner is the player who scores the highest points added up from all 5 shots.
Ball Points: Stripes = 3, Solids = 1, Black = 5.

Inviters Choice
- Player in the Top bracket on tournament standings gets to choose the game format.
- TD must approve if it is not a common format.

Last Pocket
- Shoot the 8 ball into the pocket your last ball went into (whether you shot it or not).
- Make sure to call your pocket right after your last ball is sunk so there is
clarity between you and your opponent.
- If you cannot remember it or agree with your opponent on the correct pocket,
>the TD will give you a random pocket to shoot into.

Mirror
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played like Reg 8 EXCEPT, where you pot your last ball you must pot 8 in the Opposite pocket.
- EX: if you pot last ball in TM you must pot 8 in BM. If you pot last ball in
TR you must pot 8 in BL. If you pot last ball in TL you must pot 8 in BR.
- If you pot 8 in wrong pocket you lose.

Mystery Color
- All games are to be played on Rated tables.
- The TD will announce prior to the pairings which colored ball
must be potted immediately before the 8 ball.
- If the colored ball (yours or your opponents) is potted early by either player, it is a loss.

Mystery Pocket
- All games are to be played on Rated tables.
- Matches are played as Regular 8 or otherwise noted by the TD.
- When on the 8 ball, ask the TD in the lobby for a pocket to sink the 8 ball into.
- This remains your pocket the remainder of the game.

No English
- Played on Rated tables.
- Do not use any english for all shots including the break.
- If you use it by accident, you must tap and give opponent ball in hand.
- If you use it on the 8 ball, you lose!

Not That Pocket
- Played on Rated tables.
- On each attempt at the 8 ball your opponent nominates 1 pocket that you cannot pot the 8 into.
- Your opponent may not nominate the same pocket for you twice in a row.
- You may pot the 8 into any pocket but the nominated pocket.
- Potting the 8 into the nominated pocket is a loss.

Pick your Poison
- Played as regular 8, until on the 8 ball.
- The player with stripes plays bank the 8/que.
- The player with solids plays last pocket.

Rack and Run
- All matches are played on UNRATED Training tables. No BIH.
- It does not matter who goes first but if you can not decide the player
with higher yahoo rating chooses who shoots first.
- Player 1 sits and breaks as normal
(random, from the left of the line).
- Continue shooting until the player misses or scratches
(EXCEPTIONS: Continue shooting after a miss on the break).
- If a player scratches on the break, rerack with no penalty.
- The total number of balls sunk is the players score for that turn.
- Both players get a certain number of turns
(could be 1, 2 or 3 depending on the TD's choice) and the player with the higher score advances.

Red Ball Last (Can also be played as Green Ball Last, Yellow Ball Last, Ect.)
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played like Regular 8. Object is to sink the red ball as your last colored ball before the 8 ball.
- If you sink that color early in the match, yours or your opponent's, it is a loss.
- In that case, quit and cancel your match with opponent.

Red Solo Cup
- Played at Rated tables.
- Played as Reg 8, but the 8 ball must be pocketed into the same pocket as your red ball.
- Red ball can be potted at any time.

Regular Swiss
- All in the tourney will play all rounds win or lose until there is one person undefeated.
- The number of rounds played will be determined by how many people are in the
tournament and how many rounds it takes to have only one undefeated player.
- If you have to leave or want to be removed before a swiss is over,
you must notify the TD to take you out before they advance to the next round.
- This way you will not lose your next round games.

Revenge
- Play on Rated tables.
- The TD will nominate a different tour type to each player, each round.
- Each player must play the tournament type nominated by the TD,
no complaints, or arguments. Tournament rules for tour type apply.

Screw Your Opponent(Neighbor)
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played as regular 8 ball game until shooting on 8 ball
- When you get to the 8 ball, your opponent will call the pocket that you have to make the 8 in.
- This remains the designated pocket for you for the remainder of the game.

Silence
- Played as whatever type of tournament is spammed (ie reg 8, last pocket, 4cs).
- There is to be no "talking or typing" at the table during a match.
- This includes GL, GG or responding to anyone who comes to the table during the match.

Snooker
- Played Rated tables.
- Snooker games can be thought of as having two phases..
- *Phase One - Each player must alternate between pocketing the solid red balls and the colored balls.
- After the break, the player must pocket first any red ball, then any colored ball, then any red ball,
then any colored ball, and so on, until all the balls on the table have been pocketed.
Red, colored, red, colored, red, colored,Öthat£s the rhythm.
- The six colored balls are: yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, and black. After a red ball is pocketed,
it stays in the pocket. But after a colored ball is pocketed, it is then automatically
removed from the pocket and placed back on the table.
- *Phase Two - After all the reds on the table have been pocketed, the game rules change in two ways:
- 1. The colored balls are no longer put back on the table when pocketed.
- 2. The colored balls must now be pocketed in order according to their point value.
- In other words, first yellow, then green, then brown, then blue, then pink, then black.
- When the six colored balls have been pocketed, the game is over.
The player that has accumulated the most points throughout the game wins.
- Ball Point Values: Reds - 1; Yellow - 2; Green - 3; Brown - 4; Blue - 5; Pink - 6; Black - 7.

Suicide
- All games played on UNRATED tables.
- The FIRST player to pot the 8 ball wins, after stripes and solids have been determined.
- No Ball in Hand PERIOD. If you use BIH, you lose the game.
- If you SCRATCH when you sink the 8 ball it is a LOSS.
- If you sink an opponents ball with the 8 ball it is also a LOSS.
- You should play this like a normal game to strategically
place the balls for a shot on the eight, to WIN the game.
- If you sink the 8 ball on the break it is a re-rack.

Survivor
- This is played on training tables - 1v1 format.
- Each player will take turns shooting.
- There are a set of balls for each player - PLAYER 1-Solids, PLAYER 2- Stripes.
- The object is to hit all of your opponents balls in.
- If you sink all of your opponents balls in, you then have to hit the 8 in and you win.

Three Stages of Hell
- It is usually ran as an S/E tournament, but can be ran as a D/E or Swiss.
- Each round of this tourney is held as a BO3(Best Of 3) game.
- Game One, may be Bank 8/Q. Game Two, may be Last Pocket.
If it must go to a Tiebreaker, you combine both games, and play it as Bank 8/Q - LP.
- The games in this tourney can be held in any combination,
such as, EX:(Bank 8/Q - LP, Bank 8/Q - 4C, Bank 8/Q - RBL, etc).
- The only constant in this tournament is that, Bank 8/Q
MUST
be one of the games.


Topless
- You may only pocket the balls in the BOTTOM Pockets.
- If you pot one in the TOP pockets, you must tap to your opponent.
- The break does NOT count.

Tops and Bottoms
- All stripe balls must be potted in the top pockets.
- All solid balls must be potted in the bottom pockets.
- If you are stripes, the 8 goes top also and if you are solids the 8 goes in the bottom.
- If you pot a ball in the wrong pocket, you must tap to your opponent.

Traffic Light
- All games played on UNRATED tables.
- You must pot the Green,Yellow, and Red balls in that order then pot the 8.
The first to do these 4 in order will win.
- If wanted, you may make other balls also.
- If you make one of your balls out of order you lose!
- If an opponent makes one of those balls for you, you can skip it.
(Example: if opponent makes your yellow, you do green, red, black).

True Swiss
- There are a set number of rounds and all players play all those rounds win or lose.
- If it is set for five rounds, you play 5 rounds even if there is only person undefeated after 4 rounds.

Twister
- Play like regular 8 ball. - When it gets down to the 8 you must try to pot it in the top left corner.
- If you miss the next shot you pot it in the top middle pocket.
- If you miss then you go clockwise until you pot the 8 ball.

Under Your Ass / Where You Sit
- Play like regular 8 ball, or whatever the TD designates.
- The 8 must be potted in the Top corner pocket under your seat.(Top Left or Top Right).
- If you don't for any reason, it is an automatic loss.

Under Your Feet
- Play like regular 8 ball, or whatever the TD designates.
- You must pot the 8 ball in the Bottom corner pocket under the seat.
(Bottom Left or Bottom Right).
- If you don't for any reason, it is an automatic loss.

Up and Down
- Play on Rated tables.
- Played the same as regular 8 until you get to the 8 ball.
- The person on Top must pocket the 8 ball in any Top Pockets.
- The person on Bottom must pocket the 8 ball in any Bottom Pockets.

V Shape
- Played at Rated tables
- You may only make balls in the Top Left, Bottom Middle and Top Right pockets (V Shape).
- If a ball goes into a wrong pocket, you must tap to your opponent.

Yellow Jacket
- Played at Rated tables.
- Played as Reg 8, but the 8 ball must be pocketed into the same pocket as your yellow ball.
- Yellow ball can be potted at any time.

Your Side
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played as a regular 8 game, but with a twist.
- Player on the Top, has to pot all there balls in TOP RIGHT an TOP LEFT ONLY,
same goes with 8 ball.
- Player on the Bottom, has to pot all there balls in BOTTOM RIGHT an BOTTOM LEFT ONLY,
same goes with 8 ball.
- If you pot one of your balls in any other pocket you Tap Cue.

You're Screwed
- Played on Rated tables.
- Played as regular 8 ball game until shooting on 8 ball
- Opponent calls where you are to sink 8 EACH shot.
- Opponent may NOT call same pocket twice in a row.
