The Contest will begin Monday 16th
June and end Sunday 22nd June. Please see the
Schedule for times and
opponents.
Players
Sign Up at any time - even once
the contest has begun. There is no cut-off date.
All games will be played as a ladder to 10 with Reg Std
settings either as 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 as per the
Schedule.
Players will need to play a maximum of 7 games over a period
of 10 days.
The games will be against various admin as per the
Schedule
and must be reported as ladder games.
Everyone is eligible including admin but admin may not use the
games that they are playing against members to count towards their tally.
Players must score a minimum of 6 points to win a poker card.
Players will be awarded poker cards
according to the score at the end of each of their games as follows:
- Wins game with a loner (last hand which wins game)
regardless of score- player receives a WILD CARD.
- Wins by 10 or 9 points, player receives an ACE
- Wins by 8 or 7 points, player receives a KING
- Wins by 6 points, player receives a QUEEN
- Wins by 5 points, player receives a JACK
- Wins by 4 points, player receives a 10
- Wins by 3 points, player receives a 9
- Wins by 2 points, player receives a 8
- Wins by 1 point, player receives a 7
- Looses with a score of 9 points at games end,
player receives a 6
- Looses with a score of 8 points at games end,
player receives a 5
- Looses with a score of 7 points at games end,
player receives a 4
- Looses with a score of 6 points at games end,
player receives a 3
- Player who does not score at least 6 points in a
game receives blank card for that game.
One poker card per player per game will be awarded.
Going alone on 8 or 9 is WILL be allowed for these
poker contest games. ADMIN will NOT go alone on 8 or 9 though.
At end of contest, player with best poker hand wins!
Players need not play 7 games to win. Player may
only have time to play in 2 games – whatever cards he/she receives will count.
All poker hands are eligible except flushes in this
order: high card, pair, 2 pairs, 3 of a kind, straight, full house, 4 of a
kind, and 5 of a kind (best hand out of all 7 cards won).
During one of the scheduled contest times players
come to the designated table and play one or more of their contest games.
Players may play a maximum of 3 poker games a day. Players who have completed
a poker game and wish to play another will need to leave table and return to
go to the end of line and wait their turn for subsequent games. Players may
also choose to play their games on different days and times according to their
schedule.
Ties will be broken in this order: next highest card
- most games won. If there is still a tie after these 2 variables are
considered then winning bux will be equally split between winners.
Contest admin. decisions are final.
