IN LOBBIES
So you have now joined
Warriors
and you are ready to play a tourney and you haven't a clue how to please
find the help here. There are a few ways to join or as we say jump a
tourney. If you are in lobby and see a host advertising a tourney you can go to the main page at
www.myleague.com/war
and main page scroll down to the jump box enter your name and password then enter the jump # click on register. You are now registered
for the tourney. Another way is to go to calendar which is located halfway
down the left hand side of main page click on it and you will see a list
of all the tourneys for that particular day click on the one you would
like to join and again fill in with your name and password but this
time you must remember to check the 'I have read rules ' box. The last
way is on the main page if you scroll down to the bottom of the page
there is a list of tourneys there for the current day and following
day. This is not always an accurate way of seeing what tourneys are
available as sometimes a tourney has to be deleted for emergencies and
the page isn't updated but for quickness it is useful.
It
is all very new to you in the lobby and you feel that you don't know
what you are doing. Don't worry we have been there before please make
yourself known to the host. We understand you will have a load of questions
about how to play in a league.
WHAT TYPE OF GAME ARE WE PLAYING
- all games are reg std unless otherwise stated on the tourney page. Gimmicks
are played from time to time all Gimmick Rules are found on the main page.
WHO DO I PLAY - The host once
they have closed registration will come back into the lobby and tell you what
table you will be playing at who your partner is and who your opponents are.
E.g. host will say - T-46 Whoever n What v Where n Why. The 1st persons name
called always sets the table. Please wait for the host
to say that the table is gtg before sitting.
HELP HOW DO I SET A TABLE - The tables are set as shown here :-
The tables are always set like this except
for some gimmicks e.g. Reverse where the tram is unchecked. The password is always
war in small case. Rules are always run in the lobby before the start of each
tourney please make sure you are in room before start of tourney.
We have some tourney etiquette rules
in Warriors mostly they are common sense and courtesy. The only person
in league that uses caps are the hosts and admin please as a player
don't caps as can confuse members. We ask that you aren't rude to your
fellow players at table or in the lobby at Warriors we welcome all ratings
all ages so sometimes you will have a partner that plays different from
you accept it please as part of playing in a league. Please don't be rude
to the hosts they are there so that you can play and give their time
freely and willingly completely voluntarily. Please don't leave a table
because you are losing it is unsportsmanlike to do so
THERE IS A 3 STRIKE RULE
FOR BAD/DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOUR We don't tolerate any bad behaviour firstly you
are told secondly you are warned thirdly you will be dq'd from tourney
and possibly receive a boxing or ban .
If you get booted from
pogo at anytime in a game you have 10 min's to get back to table and be sitting.
If you poof 3 times in any one game you will be dq'd on the 3rd poof
There is a 2pt penalty for going alone on
9.
Tourneys will not be
held up for anyone we start on time.
Non Members are not
allowed at tables .
You may ladder as many times a day as you want but you can only ladder the
same person twice in a 24hr period. The loser of the ladder must report the match
now for easiness there is a box on main page scroll down and you will
locate it next to the jump box or on the left hand side of page you can click on
report loss.
