It is with great sadness that we have to write and tell you that Guppy passed away this morning.

Where do I start this is probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do since I joined leagues all those years ago. Guppy was so much a Warrior and represented all what Warriors was about. Guppy came to us in June 2004 with her best friend Cookie and Gizzy. Wasn't long before Guppy made her mark on Warriors. Guppy became joint Head HTD taking charge of the staff. Guppy had her own way of dealing with things which was unique to her. Her enthusiasm was just awesome. Her energy put us 'younger' ones to shame. Nothing was a bother to her. She had the biggest shoulders for us to go cry on , she would laugh with you and cry with you she always had the right words of wisdom. Guppy loved Warriors and every one of you that came across her will know. Unfortunately her health started to deteriorate so she stepped down as Head HTD and took some time off other than hosting and playing and doing the tourney pages she so loved doing. She soon missed not working and we needed her on the team so she came back as Asst Admin. Unfortunately her health started going downhill quickly and Guppy was in hospital some weeks. But still her thoughts were always with us. When so many members sent her cards to cheer her up she couldn't believe it and it cheered her up so much. Cookie sent her a quacking duck and at her lowest she would squeak the duck to call the nurses her sense of humour never left her. Guppy came home but was still very weak she began playing a tourney or 2 and it was so good to see her in the lobby again.

Guppy will be missed for many reasons for just being Guppy, for her laughs and sense of humour, for her leadership, for her friendship, for her dedication.

Rest in Peace our Dear dear Guppy no more pain hun. Our love and prayers go out to her husband and family. One very special and unique person.

Just for Guppy to remember what a wonderful person she was we will have a memorial tourney for her on Saturday at 7.30pm . No sad faces allowed Guppy would have hated that remember Guppy was a strong loving special LADY who loved life to the fullest .
