GENERAL RULES OF PLAY SPECIFIC FOR FREAKS!

1. Seven (7) minutes allowed on freezes per full tourney (ten (10) minutes for teams), five (5) minutes for quickie tourney.

2. First name listed in pairings makes the table ASAP, protects it, and invites the other players and the TD. If you are not paying attention and the TD has to ask your partner to make the table, you lose the right to make and pick seats! If both you and your partner are not paying attention and the TD has to ask your opponents to make the table, you lose the right to make and pick seats!

3. Fast play is expected!!! A TD will ask you nicely, then warn you. If your slow play continues after the warning, you will be DQ'ed.

4. Poor sportsmanship or foul language directed at others will not be tolerated. Acting in such a manner will get you DQ'ed, and/or boxed.

5. Only the host should message the TD if anyone freezes or makes a mistake.

6. The TD reports the losses in a tourney.

7. Anyone caught harassing, degrading, or giving unsolicited advice to their partners will be DQ'ed...no questions asked. Everyone has a unique style of play; accept it or move on!

8. Loners are allowed on any score in this league, unless otherwise restricted or made mandatory by a particular game rule.

9. Tourney Times: Games other than regular or regular STD can only be made on odd hours; Regular or Regular STD can also be played on the odd hours, even hours are for Regular or Regular STD Euchre. Exception: between the hours of 12 AM and 8 AM, inclusive, any Freaks games can be played.

10. Closing Tourneys: No LATER than 5 After for 1vs1, 10 after for 2vs2. If a tourney cannot be closed by these times, it should be kept open until fifteen (15) minutes after its scheduled start time. If enough players join before this fifteen minutes expires, the TD should start the tourney as soon as possible.

11. Mistakes: Two mistakes are allowed per tourney, per player. On your 2nd mistake you will be DQ'ed, except in finals. No MISTAKES in FINALS. Any mistake in finals will get you DQ'ed, even your first. If a sub makes two mistakes in a tournament (one mistake in finals) they will be asked to stand, and another sub retained to replace them.

12. Each game has it's own specific skip rule, and those are listed on the rules page of each tournament.

13. Subbing: In this league, you are allowed to sub in one game and play in another. TDs are also allowed to sub. If you cannot play in two games efficiently, please do not volunteer. In 2v2 or 3v3 tournaments, if one member of a team is MIA at any time during the tournament, the member(s) who are present are allowed to get a member to sub. The member to sub cannot be on another team in the same tourney. The team with the MIA will wait three (3) minutes to start play in order to give the MIA a chance to get back to the lobby. This three minutes will count against the ten minute total MIA time. After the tourney, the TD should inform an admin who will adjust the MIA and subs win loss records.

14. You are not allowed to play in two tourneys at once, or play a cases game while you are in a tourney. You are also not allowed to be playing in another game room while in a Freaks tourney.

15. Kibitz: You are expected to have your kibitz off. No kibitzing is allowed. TDs will not warn you to turn off your kibitz. If a league member comes to the table and kibitz’s, tell them to stop immediately. If they do not, have them booted from the table. If a non league member comes to the table and kibitz's, boot them immediately. If either of these people tell what the cards are, it is too bad for the player who had their hand read out. They should have turned it off to start with, as per the league rule. You are not to skip the hand or anything else. Continue playing as normal. The onus is on the players to turn it off, if they don’t want to, that is their issue.

16. Same Household Members: People in the same household are not allowed to:
• Play AS PARTNERS in any tourney (except cheaters tournies)
• Play in ANY CASES GAMES, whether against or as partners
• Sub in ANY GAMES, with each other
• Same Household Members should refrain from subbing in any games against each other (people think you might throw the game).
• Freaks should inform Freaks staff if you begin to cohabitate with another Freak.
