
BANK 8 or CUE
Rated, protected tables
Played as regular 8 ball with the exception of potting the black. The 8 ball must be banked into the marked pocket.
Bank: When you bank your ball into the rail or the cue ball banks off a rail and then hits your ball before it goes into the pocket.
When banking the 8 ball, it must be an obvious bank. Hitting the rail right next to the 8 ball is not a true bank but called a kiss and can not be claimed as a bank.
BANKS AND COMBOS
Rated, protected table
All shots must be either a bank or a combo.
Bank: When you bank your ball into the rail or the cue ball banks off a rail and then hits your ball before it goes into the pocket.
Combo: Where you hit one of your balls into another of yours to put one of them in the pocket.
If you do not bank or combo one of your shots, you must tap cue ball to give your opponent ball in hand.
BERMUDA TRIANGLE
Rated, protected table
The person on left (this is your physical left side as you face your computer) plays the top corners and center bottom pocket.
The person on right (this is your physical right side as you face your computer) plays bottom corners and top center pocket.
All balls must go in designated pockets - even the 8 ball.
If a ball is pocketed in wrong pocket - give opponent BIH by tapping
the cueball.
Opponent cannot move the white on BIH, he must take shot from where ball is tapped.
BLACK N BLUE
Rated, protected table
Played like regular 8 ball but when you pot your blue ball, that is where you must pot the black when it is time. Please type in the table chat area which pocket that you potted your blue ball.

BLACK JACK
Protected training table
Shoot once, then stand. Opponent sits, shoots once and stands.
You may shoot any ball you like however if you go over 21, you lose. On scratch opponent gets BIH behind the line. No points are awarded on a scratch.
Scratch on break, your turn is over. Stand and opponent sits.
Points are: All stripes = 3 points each. Banked ball = 1 point.
Solids are: / Yellow= 1
/ Blue = 2
/ Red = 3
/ Purple = 4
/ Orange = 5
/ Green = 6
/ Pink = 7
/ Black = 8.
BOOT'EM
Private training table

Played on one table. TD will invite all participants to that table.
Shoot in alphabetical order. You get one shot. If you make it, please stand and next player on list will sit and shoot. If you miss your shot, the TD will boot you from the table.

CRAZY 8

Played like regular 8 ball but....
Once you are on the 8 ball, your opponent will call your pocket. This pocket cannot change once called. You cannot have same pocket as opponent.
DEFAULT POCKET
Rated, protected table
Played like regular 8 ball but....
You have to pocket the 8 ball in the top middle pocket only, (pocket marked by yahoo.)Failure to do so will result in loss.
FIRST POCKET
Rated, protected table
Played like regular 8 ball but....
The first pocket that you pot your first ball into will be the pocket where you must pot the 8 ball. Please type in table chat which is your pocket. You cannot have the same first pocket as your opponent. If you pot your ball in same pocket as opponents, opponent will choose your pocket. | 
FIRST BALL IN
Rated, Protected Tables
All balls must be pocketed into the same pocket as what your first colored ball goes into. You cannot have the same pocket as your opponent. If you make a ball into another pocket by accident, it is BIH to your opponent. The 8 ball must be pocketed into your pocket as well.
FLAWLESS
Protected, unrated table
Game is played as usual, but if a player scratches at any time, the game is over. A scratch on the break is an automatic loss, so be careful. If you sink the 8ball on break it is a rerack, no exceptions.
FOUR CORNERS
Rated, protected table
Played like regular 8 ball but you must pot all your balls into the corner pockets only. If you pot one of your balls into the top or bottom middle, you must tap ball and give opponent BIH (ball in hand. If you pot your ball into a corner pocket and one falls into the middle pocket, continue play with no BIH. 8 ball must be potted into a corner pocket. Failure to do so will result in loss.
FULL POWER
Rated, protected table
Played as regular 8 ball but each and every shot must be made with full power. Pull stick all the way to full power and wait for opponent to type "ok" in the table chat before releasing shot. Failure to use full power is ball in hand to opponent.
GOLF
Protected Training tables
The object is to make as many balls as you can in one rack. Each miss or scratch counts as a point. Player with lowest number of points at end of one rack wins. If game ends in a tie, play another rack.
KILLER
Protected, training table
Each player starts with 3 lives.
Player with highest yahoo rating goes first. Player breaks and if he does not make a ball on the break, he gets another shot.
Failure to pot a ball on your turn is the loss of 1 life.
Stand after one shot, stand and opponent takes his turn.
A scratch is the loss of 2 lives. Opponent gets ball in hand on scratches. You cannot move the ball any other time other than on a scratch. Player left with one or more lives is the winner and advances to the next round.
LAST POCKET
Protected, rated table
Played as regular 8 ball with the following exception:
In this format, the 8 ball must go in the same pocket your last ball went into. Please type in table chat what your last pocket is.
You and your opponent can NOT have the same last pocket.
If by some chance you get the same last pocket as your opponent, your opponent gets to pick your last pocket.
If the 8 ball is hung in a pocket which belongs to neither player then cancel the game and rerack.
RACK N RUN
Protected, training table
Player with higher yahoo rating chooses who shoots first. Player 1 sits and breaks as normal (random). Continue shooting until the player misses or scratches. If no ball is pocketed on the break, you go ahead and shoot. If a player scratches on the first break of a round, rerack with no penalty. If you run the table on your first rack in a round, you must pocket a ball on your second rack or your turn for that round is over. The total number of balls sunk is the players score for that turn. The player with the higher score advances.
RED BALL LAST
Rated, protected table
Played like regular 8 ball but you must NOT pot yours or your opponents RED ball until the end. (Red Ball and then Black Ball) If you pot your RED or your opponents RED early,it will result in a loss at which stage you will cancel the game and your opponent wins.
ROTATION
Rated, protected table
You must pot your balls by rotating the pockets clockwise. For example, you pot your first ball in the top right pocket, you must pot your second ball in the bottom right pocket, third ball in bottom middle pocket and so on until you have made all of your balls and the 8 ball in a clockwise pattern. Failure to advance to the next pocket clockwise will result in giving BIH to your opponent. Play continues until winner pots 8-ball in the correct rotated pocket.
Speed Ball
Protected, training table
The TD will invite players to table. The TD will run a 60-second timer, you sit and shoot as many balls as you can in that time. If you scratch, you get BIH behind the line and continue shooting. Players will get a 20 second warning before TD announces "GO." TD will call time when 60 seconds has expired and count the balls. One that pots most balls in that time frame is delcared winner.
SUICIDE
Protected, unrated table
OBJECT OF THE GAME: To be the first player to legally pocket the 8 ball. Games are played on unrated protected tables. Making the 8 on the break is a re-rack. Once the break has been made, there is no reason to shoot any ball except the 8 unless you wish to do so to achieve better shape on the 8 ball. There is NO BALL IN HAND at any time during this tournament. If your opponent scratches, you will shoot from the place that yahoo returns the cue to the table. Once the 8 has been potted, the game is over. The loser (which yahoo will say is the winner) will report the loss to the tourney page immediately to keep the tourney moving.
SWISS, REGULAR
Rated, protected table
All in the tourney will play all rounds win or lose until there is one person undefeated. The number of rounds played will be determined by how many people are in the tournament and how many rounds it takes to have only one undefeated player. If you have to leave or want to be removed before a swiss is over, you must notify the TD to take you out before they advance to the next round. This way you will not lose your next round games.
TEN SHOT
Protected, training table
Each player gets 10 shots to sink as many balls as he can. There will be no BIH except on scratch or break. If you scratch on break, rerack and break again. Player with the most balls in after 10 shots, wins.
TIMER
Rated, protected table
Played as regular 8 ball but with a specific timer. The TD will spam in lobby how many seconds timer is to be set. When making game table, remember to set timer per what the TD has stated.
TOPS N TAILS
Rated, protected table
Played on regular, protected tables. Once your ball selection is made, if you are stripes, all stripes must be shot in the top pockets only. If you are solids, all solids must be shot in the bottom pockets only. If you shoot your balls into opponents pocket, it is BIH (ball in hand).
TRUE SWISS
Rated, protected table
There is a set number of rounds and all players play all those rounds win or lose. If it is set for five rounds, you play 5 rounds even if there is only person undefeated after 4 rounds. All in the tourney will play all rounds win or lose until there is one person undefeated.
