If you ever thought of hosting, it is not hard. If you have experience, great. But not required since we provide training. The TD application link is under the tournaments tab of the league page and at the bottom of this page. Answer all the questions fully and you will get an e-mail within a week if we have a few more questions or when your aplication is processed. When an application is accepted you will get an e-mail with information you need and to schedule training. We are going to try and host in both Pogo and Yahoo so if you only play in one of those you will not be asked to host in the other. Below is what we ask of staff on Krazy Fun.

HTD REQUIREMENTS

Must be an active member on the league. The first 5 - 10 need to be hosted with a HTD present if you have no prior verifiable hosting experience or if you have never hosted the format. Eg. Swiss, double elimination , ect.

Be TD and have completed those requirements. Also, already trained and have hosted some of all our games and tournament formats. Willing to help new TDs in their training tourneys. If we add new games be willing to learn them as well.

Host at least 1 tournament a week.

Host at least 2 tournaments a week.

Be willing to learn to host in all our games, but if only hosting 1 each week try and make them different games each week for more fun variety for both hosts and players. Only Single Elimination tourneys till trained and ok'd to host other formats.

Be willing to host all of our games and be able to help teach new TDs how to host each of our games and formats. (Single Elim, Swiss, True Swiss, Double Elim.) Host in at least 2 games a week to keep up skills in case a newer TD asks how to do something.

Learn and follow all Cases and League rules for setting and running of tournaments and for recruiting, ect. (These will be part of training.) Also, we have a history of having more players in the evenings but no exact time schedule. The times are pretty much open to set whenever you think you will be able to get enough players. So set when you can but try and set at least some a day or more in advance so players see we have tournaments set. Some tournaments will be on the spot as long as we have enough players.

As we get more TDs there will be more opportunities to be promoted to HTD or even Admins. If a HTD is interested in being an admin please see the Head Admin for information. There are things that will be taken into consideration, such as.... Attitude and interaction with other players, support of the league, and support of other TDs tournaments. So we can all have more fun, it is important to support each other. It also looks better to potential new members and current members if they can see our staff having fun and playing in each others tournaments.This does not mean that you have to play in every tournament or host all the time. We know everyone also has other things to do and lives away from the league. We want this to be as fun as possible for all of us.
