Guide to the new League Page 1. General 1.1 Login On the right upper page you will find the Login box. Once you are logged in you can do all sorts of things without having to enter your info each and every time, like jumping tourneys, posting in forum, etc. The system remembers that you are logged in and passes that information on when necessary. There is a cookie added to the login now, which will keep you logged in the computer you are using. So please, if you are using a shared computer, be sure to Logout once you finish using the league page, before you close the computer. Otherwise the next user of that computer will be able to enter your MyLeague Account. You will also be able to see your Ladderbux total displayed there, no matter what tab you are on at the moment, your logged-in name and bux total will display in the upper right of the main page. There is no more going to Find Player to find out how many ladderbux you presently have. 1.1 Private Message A Message icon has been added now at the top right as well. This will take you to a private message tab, where you can send messages to the members of the league. Please note that the email addresses won't be displayed anymore in the tourney pages or elsewhere, to protect player's privacy. Also, to prevent the use of this new feature for spamming, each message can be sent to only one person. From here, you can use the tabs to switch between your Inbox, your Sent Messages, your Trashed Messages, and your Blacklist (you will be able to add to your blacklist the players from which you do not wish to receive private messages). You can also access the "Compose Message" screen from here, to send a new message to someone. To open a received message, just click on the message row. To delete multiple messages, simply click the checkboxes next to the messages that you want to delete, and click the "Delete" button. This will move the selected messages to your Trash. Read messages older than 30 days and unread messages older than 60 days are automatically purged from the Inbox and the Trash. Messages in the Sent box that are older than 30 days will automatically be purged. If you wish to save messages for longer than this, you should copy and paste them to a word processor and save them to your hard drive. 1.3 Search Box The Search Box located at the upper right of the page has two different features. You can enter a tourney number here, choose Tourney Jump from the drop down menu and then click on GO You can also enter a players ID or the first letters of the ID, choose Player from the dropdown menu and click on GO. It will show you the player profile you looked for or several profiles from which to choose the one you want to find. 1.4 Free Sign up This link for the new members to Sign Up is also to be found in the upper right corner and works similar to the old one, but in fact easier and faster. The system will send you an e-mail with a link to activate your account by just clicking on it.
2. Menu Links Please note that the new page works with Tabs, no more opening lots of browsers to get where you want to get. Keep in mind that the best feature of this new interphase is that you can go back and forth through each and everyone of these links and tabs without leaving the League Page!! 2.1 "Home" Tab Here you will find a box customized for the league’s needs. Below this box, find the Tourney Calendar. It has not two different tabs of its own. The TODAY tab will show the tourneys scheduled for the day, the TOURNEY CALENDAR tab will show a calendar from which you can choose the day you want to take a look at. Moving your mouse over a tourney will show you more information about that specific tournament. At the end of the tourney description you will find the word “register” you can click it to be registered in that tourney immediately. Below the Tourney Calendar you will find the Search for Players box. You can enter a player ID or the first letters of the ID and click on GO. It will show you the player profile you look for, or several profiles from which to choose the one you want to find. Bellow the Search for Players box you will find the profiles of the Top Ranked Players. Top 8 are shown by default, and you can use the tabs to see the top 20, or who's online, or the new members. Scrolling down the page you will find an outlook of the Daily News for the past week. At the bottom of the page there is an outlook of the message forum, where you can see the last five messages posted. In the Right Hand Menu you will find the GO PLAY NOW link. This link will take you to our Game Room Veteran’s Vortex. There is also a customized box for you to find the links that we used to have in the main page, such as Rules, Count Fans, Old Calendar, Mahjong Calculator, Birthday Tourneys and Photos, etc. 2.2 "Standings" Tab The Standings Tab takes you to the Standings Page, where you will find the League Standings which look pretty similar to those in the old page. There are two ways of customizing your standings view, you can add Filters or choose which Columns you want to see. After you have made your search choice, you need to click on the Update button, at the right side. Here you will find the links to the Daily Buzz (daily news and results for the past seven days), the detailed Hall of Fame, to post a Formal Challenge and to Report Loss. 2.3 "Tournaments" Tab Here you find a more detailed Tourney Calendar. To jump a tourney from this calendar, please click on the jump number, it will take you directly to the Tourney page. There is also the TD and HTD lists. Scrolling down you will find the list of the Recent Tournament Winners. Also under this tab, you can find links for the Tourney Bux Log (to check the detail of your buxes), Awarded Medals, Tourney Ribbons, Overview of the tournaments you last played, Overview of your own stats, Tourney Rules and the TD Application. 2.4 "Community" Tab This tab shows the Message Forum, the top ranked League Members, Recent News and Recent Winners. 2.5 "Support" Tab Here you will find links for Common Questions, to file a complaint for an Unreported Match, to check on the System Status, as well as links for Premium Support and to Contact Admin. 2.6 "My Account" Tab Here you will find your complete Profile, your Match Data, your Tournaments Info as well as diverse Options you might need in order to manage your account. Also at the top, the tabs Buy Membership, Ladderbux, Lost Password, Gift Membership, and the recently added tab "Private Messages" explained at the top.
