SPADES HAVEN'S LEAGUE RULES

PLEASE READ THE RULES CAREFULLY! WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR A TOURNEY YOU AGREE TO THESE RULES

Enforcing

The hosting TD is responsible for enforcing all rules and is the ultimate authority.
Any disputes with a decision the TD has made will be discussed after the game has been played, and privately.
If you believe and error was made, please contact an ADMIN as soon as possible to discuss the situation.

Tables

The player (or team) called first in the pairings is responsible for making the table.
They have 2 minutes to make the table.
Make all tables protected and no forced forfeits.
Table rating is determined by game rules.
Invite the hosting TD and players to table.
Kibitz must be turned off immediately upon sitting.
Game play will not start until all players have done so.
No one other than the hosting TD (or a designated TD sub) is allowed to Kibitz at the table.
There will be absolutely NO table talking while playing.
IM's between players are strictly prohibited.
The hosting TD has the discretion to immediately DQ the player.
There is absolutely no cheating tolerated.
This includes but not limited to table talking, IM'ing, web cams and/or phone.
This also includes but not limited to card counters or any other cheating program!!
Any player caught cheating will be immediately DQ'd and their membership with Spades Haven will be terminated.
There is to be no excessive talking during play.
Please be courteous of all players.
Players are not to leave a game table until the hosting TD has acknowledged the end of the game.

Timers and Subs

A timer will be set on a missing player as soon as all other players have been seated.

In a 1 v 1 tourney: Players have a 10 minute timer before DQ,
If the player is booted from the table, the player has 10 minutes to return before DQ.

In a 2 v 2 tourney: a sub may be placed immediately at the request of the seated team member.
However, if player is does not return and a sub is not seated within 10 minutes, the team is DQ'd.
The team will not be DQ'd as long as one original team player is playing at the end of the game.
If a player is booted from the table, a sub will be placed immediately until the booted player returns.

RATED 2 v 2:

players have a 10 minute timer.
If a player is booted from the table they have 10 minutes to return.
A TD is only allowed to sub in a game if there are no other league members available to sub.

Quickies games:

4 hand , 4 out 7, 3 out 5,Roult
Players have a 5 minute timer.
If a player is booted from the table they have 5 minutes to return.
A TD is only allowed to sub in a game if there are no other league members available to sub.

Misbids

Please inform the TD immediately if a misbid occurs.
First misbid is -100, second misbid is -150 (for total of -250) and third misbid is DQ.
Once the misbid is acknowledged by the TD they will instruct you to skip that hand (unless games rules state otherwise).
There will be NO skipping of any hand other than the hand the misbid occured on unless otherwise stated in the specific tourney game rules.

Sub misbids

Skip hand no points taken for subs misbid(other team has option of skip next hand or play after both haved viewed cards) .
All misbids will be deducted from the FINAL score of any game (this includes rated games)

Slow Play

Please keep play fast and fair. No excessive BRB at the table.
Please use these in between rounds.
It is the TD discretion as to whether a player is using excessive BRB and will issue a warning to the player.
The TD may DQ the player after their second offense.
If the TD feels that a player is consistantly playing slow, they will receive a warning in IM.
Second offense will be a warning at the table.
Third offense and the TD has the discretion to DQ the player.

Miscellaneous

The hosting TD may call the game in the last hand if it is not possible for a team to win. It is the TD's descretion to reduce the number of hands in a game if the current tourney will run into the next scheduled tourney. This can only be done at the start of the tournament. A game clock will be placed at the start of a game and is determined by the game rules. The TD has the discretion to stop the game after the game time has elapsed. No league or player bashing will be allowed. Any player caught doing so at a game table or in lobby will be warned by staff. If behavior continues the player will immediately be removed from the league.

NO SHOWS

BAD SPORTSMANSHIP

First Time Is a Warning.
Second is 3 days boxed.
Third is 7 days boxed.
4th you are Banned !!!!!
