Hello Wonderful Loonies!


I would like to remind you of some special tourneys coming up. This Saturday night at 10pm Eastern Time we have our loonie bowling tourney. This is bowling with a loonie twist. The rules are always fun and different.

The same night we will have our first quick tourney night. These tourneys will all be a true swiss, two rounds each. They will start at 11pm and continue at 11:30pm, 12:00 midnight and 12:30am eastern time. We hope that you will catch one or all of these tourneys and have lots of fun!

This Sunday is our tournament of champions at 8pm eastern. This tourney will be held in bowling. To qualify for this tourney you will need to have won at least one tourney last month. Hope to see you there!

With Valentines coming up we have scheduled a Valentines tourney on Saturday night the 13th at 6pm. eastern. We decided to do it the day before Valentines Day so that way you can still enjoy Valentines Day with your significant other. This tourney will be a 2vs2 tourney. You will register like normal but you will be randomly paired with another player in the tourney when the host closes by cases. Both of your scores will count together for the round. We will also have Valentine trivia. For the trivia, if your partner answers the question correct, then both you and your partner will receive bux. There will also be extra bux put into the pot and a random draw of a pair of players that will win a badge book or gem badge of their choice each.

Also on Saturday the 13th we have our follow the host at 8pm Eastern Time. This is a tourney that is a lot of fun. We all have to follow the host all over pogo, lol. This is a true swiss tourney, three rounds. Each round is played in a different game known only to the host.

I would like to remind you all that the staff is trying to put the links for the backdoors on the tourney pages so that you can go straight to the room from the tourney page. This is a convenience for the players to make it easier to play in the tourney. At this point we are trying it out to see how it works out.

Please do not rely on just that link to get to the room. If you should use the link and find yourself in a room with no host, then the link is probably not correct. Sometimes a host can’t make their tourney and another host will take over. The room should always have a host in it when you follow the link. We test the links and make sure they work. But for some reason sometimes they will not work once in awhile. Weird I know. Pogo!

Please remember that the information on how to get the room step by step is always included on the tourney page. You can also see if there is a host online on your friends list and go and ask them for help if needed. If you should do that, ALWAYS take the host into private chat. We are not allowed to discuss our league in rooms that are not used by us. This is a courtesy in case another league is using the room. The staff always tries to make it as easy as possible to play in a tourney.

To check on special tourneys that are coming up you can go to the tournament tab at the top of our league site. This list is usually updated once a week. This way you can see what is coming up all on one page. If you should have any questions about the tourneys please click on our Lunatic Ministers name, Wikid, on our home page under the staff listing on the right hand side and send her an email with your question. She will be glad to help you.

The smilies for the chat box have been updated. There are a few Valentine images on there as well. There have been a few new ones added and the links that were no longer there corrected. Take a look and leave a message on the chat box for the other loonie players. Have something good happen? Having a special day? Just feeling a little happy? Or just want to say hi? The new members link that is found on our main page above the slide of players pictures has been updated. New members please take a few minutes to look it over. And old members too, lol. Never know what you might learn.
