ex-husbands side.
Taylor,Patton,Ryan/Rhine/Rine,Speicher,Gibson,Yömmer. All on my side.
I am researching my family tree. My mother is Anna Mae Patton
Taylor, my father was James Paul Taylor,Sr. Any information will
be greatly appreciated. My parents were both born in Pennsylvania
They were raised in West Virginia, as far as I know. I and my two
sisters and one brother were born and raised in Wheeling,WV.
My great grandmother (Martha M. Gibson) on my mother's father's side was born in Bellshill, Scotland around
1881. I do not know the names of her parents or exactly when she came to America. I do know how ever that she
married
my great grandfather in America. His name is Henry W. Patton and was born in Garrett County, Maryland around
1880. I do not know the names of his parents either. My grandfather (Nelson Robert Patton) was born 01-01-1907
in Somerset County, PA. Nelson married Beulah Katherine Yömmer (my grandmother, daughter of Charles Harrison
Yömmer and Anna Speicher).
This is where I need the most help. Finding out the names of my great great grandparent's and all pertinent
information.
I am also researching my ex-husbands side of the family. His name is Willis Ray Lefler, most know him by Ray
Lefler. His parents were Stuart Isaac Lefler and Laura Lou Leonard Lefler. They were born in Wythe and Smyth
Counties in VA. Stuart was born around the Rural Retreat area and Laura around the Groseclose area. Any
information would be greatly appreciated.
