HOSTING LEAGUE INFORMATION Tourney's are to be made at least two weeks in advance. If tourney's are not made, BROY Admin will make them. Tourney's should be made as follows: These are the essentials that need to be filled in. Bracket Style (Single-Elim) Name of Tourney: BROY (Team One, Team Two, Ladies BOS, Mens BOS, Reverse Team One, Reverse Team Two) Location: (Your Room) / (Name of Tourney) Number of Rounds: 8 Number of Players per team: 2 Ladderbux Settings: If you have ran over 5 tourney's in BROY you might as well take advantage of getting some buxs for your hard work. Place a check in the No entry fee; LadderBux to top finishers. Make sure that Check-In is open Seed Players by: Please change this to random. Don't forget to design your tourney page. Some leagues add a link to the room on the page. The design is totally up to you. We ask that leagues have at a minimum 6 tds ready to assist with the tourney's (8 if possible especially for the traditional BROY). Send an email to Admin in charge of tourney three days in advance letting them know how many tds you have available to assist. If you are short we have lots of tds that can assist but we need the time to ask them. Td's are to be sent the link with the BROY Td's Rules. Each td is expected to have read the rules prior to the evening of BROY. The job of each Admin host td is to assign tables to the td's making tables. All tables will be announced in the conference and the td's will announce those pairing in the lobby and invite the players to the tables. The Admin host td will make sure that all his/her td's have made their tables and have started. Once the td has finished their table they will congratulate the winning team in the lobby and say blnt to the losing team...then announce the winners in the conference. The hosting td then should post all winners on the td site and advance the tourney. As soon as possible the next round should be started. As soon as a pairing is available for the next round assign it to an available td. No td will have more than two tables running at the same time. It is the responsibility of the td to watch the table and make the Admin hosting td aware of any issues that may occur at their individual tables. REVERSE RULES FOR BROY Please make sure that these rules are on the tourney page. Reverse with Loners The player ordering MUST have 1 natural trump in their hand. The dealer does not have to have a trump to order. The left bower is not considered a natural trump. Please type the upcard at the table. The dealer MUST keep the card that is ordered, to discard it would be considered a mistake. The dealer may discard any other trump they have in their hand. If dealer or their partner makes mistake please skip back to the dealer. If left or right of dealer makes mistake skip once. Tables are Unrated, Std, and protected. FINALS In regards to traditional BROY and BROY Reverse, Team One should always have first choice of seats. For BROY BOS whichever tourney finishes first will have choice of seats first.
