Hooters League Rules Hooters League Rules Start Of The Game The TD must be present at table and have given the rules before a game may be started. Making of the table:It is expected that tables be made no more then one min after all pairings are posted each round If the table does not get made after one min the Td will ask the second set of names to make If this should take place the member who did make is intitle to sit first and choice of sub if needed In finals first person in pairings has first choice of sub It is expected of all members to have there subs ready before invited to the table There are no loners allowed on 8 or 9, unless the game you are playing requires that you have to go alone on 8 or 9. Playing In Multiple Tourneys: You can play in two different tourneys at the same time between the hours of Midnight and 530 PM as long as you are able to handle this an slow play does not take place cause of it, if you are slow you will be asked to stand right away from one of them ,, there is no warnings at all playing in more then 1 tourney at a time.If you continue to play slow once asked to stand in one ,, the league rule for slow play is still in place an will take affect.There is no playing in two different leagues at the same time.If we find out this is taking place you will be taken out of the tourney that is taking place within the league. Tds can only sub in finals unless no other sub is available. ****New*** If you are subbing in finals and registered in the following tourney and your name comes up to play in the tourney in which you are registered in, you will **Not** be asked to stand as a sub in finals unless there is slow play between both games. Mistakes Made During The Game: 1v1: Only 1 error allowed per person per tournament. If 2nd error occurs, that player will be Dq'd. No errors allowed in Finals at all as a finalist if a sub makes a boo in the finals twice they must stand and be replaced by a new sub.If a sub boos in any other round they are not dq'd out of the tourney, they simply just stand and have them replaced with another sub. 2v2 & 3v3: Only 1 error allowed per team per tournament. If 2nd error occurs, that team will be Dq'd. No errors allowed in Finals at all ***Effective as of December 1 2010*** Subs Will be allowed in partner Touneys*** Meaning there will be a 7 minute timer alotted in partner tourneys,if your partner is gone for 5 minuntes that person will be disqualified and a sub will be allowed leaving the other member a 2 minute timer in case they go Mia In a swiss or double elim,1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 if you or your team are disqualified for any such reason in a round you or your team will take the loss and you will not be able to continue play in the following rounds. Skip Rule: Skip Rule: If mistake can be fixed, it will be by TD. If not, then the person to the left of player who made the mistake will decide to skip 1 or 2 times. In a 4 hands down if a boo is made you must skip back to the dealer Timers: Players are allowed a 5 min timer per member per tournament in affect as of January/1/2010 if they are mia or no ping.If they have good ping there intitled to 3 minutes Timer will start immediately at start of game and/or when player freeezes up or gets booted in game. Sub will be necessary after timer has lapsed.If there playing in a quickie or 4 hands down, timers are 4 mins. In the event of a tie in 4 hands down there will be one more hand played in order to determine the winning team Table Talk; If there is any form of table talk before trump is called it is an automatic Dq. After trump is called, it is up to the TD to decide. Force Forfiet: We do not force forfiet. If a player ffs a game they are automatically Dq’d The game will be re-started and the score will remain the same as before the ff. No questions asked. Fast Play: Fast play is a must If you are holding up a game and your ping is fine The Td Will issue out warnings After two warnings you will be dq'd If you say brb at the table a timer will start Disagreements With Tds During A Tournement: The TD'S decision is final so please respect this. Do Not Argue With The Td. Running a tournament requires concentration and may be stressful at times. If you do not agree with a Td's decision, you can discuss it with the Td, a Htd or an Admin after a tournament in IM. We do not allow members to play in outside league tourneys at the same time as playing in Hooters League tourneys, if we find that you are doing such thing , you will be asked to take a dq in our tourney that you are registered in.
