Tournament Director Requirements

Thank you for your interest in becoming a host for the Oddballs4u League. To be a host on a league is not for everyone, but you have a chance to meet new people everyday! We host all our tourneys on Pogo.com game rooms. Some of the best qualities in a host is being fun, fair and positive, stressing the FUN part.

We try to give all applicants a chance to be a host. Some requirements must be met, however. Please see below.

1. You must be an active member of Oddballs4u League and have at least 25 tourneys on your record before applying to be a host.
2. You must have Yahoo Messenger, as this is how we communicate most as well as have our staff meetings. BHL will contact you to set up training times and to see when you can/cannot host.
3. You must complete 3 co-hosts within 5 days. Then you will need a run through of the training center where you will run a mock tourney. You will start with single elimination tourneys and after 25 recorded tourneys will be shown swiss style tourneys. (Anyone with previous hosting experience will be advanced to swiss faster)
4. Being a host takes a certain amount of time and a commitment on your part. Our hosts have a time slot to cover. Most is 1 daily, however some do more, some do less.
