League Rules

League Rules

  • First and most importantly ~ Have Fun!!

  • Each member may only use one name for the league and it must match your PAID active permanent paid pogo name EXACTLY, not a free guess pass.

  • Inactive members will be purged at 90 days inactive.

  • Rank Gain, or Ladder Movement, is set to 50 percent.

    Member Responsibility

  • Members are responsible for knowing Dysfunctional Dragon Rules and Pogo Rules for each game played. If you are unsure of the rules, visit the tour rule page of each tour and the How To Play page at Pogo.

  • Players must be in the room and ready to play at least 5 minutes before each tournament. If not present at the time of closing, the player WILL be left in and shall be removed if a no show by 2nd round. When you are tardy, it hinders the tournament and is unfair to the other players.

  • In games that require you to set a table, the table must be password protected. The password for this league is - pain.

  • 'Quiet Watching' is allowed as long as both players at the table agree. If either player requests no watching, the request must be honored.

  • Please keep the chat in the lobby to a minimum while the tournament director is announcing pairs, results or gathering scores. Excessive chat during these times makes it difficult for the tournament director to complete the tournament in a timely manner.

  • If a problem should arise, invite the tournament director to the table or to PC. No problems will be solved in the lobby.

  • Member responsibility is not limited to these rules and infractions will be dealt with on an individual basis.

  • Please remember, this is your league too. It is what you make it! So, let's all try very hard to make it as much fun as possible!

    Lobby Etiquette

  • Be respectful of all league members, league staff and non-league players in the game rooms. If there is a problem, do not argue in the lobby of the game room. It is best to notify the tournament director if there is a problem and let them handle it. Arguing in the lobby can lead to boxing or banning.

  • Hosts will address players by their league name (some shortened versions are acceptable).

  • Do not use an excessive amount of foul language in the lobby. This can lead to boxing or banning. Some words are not to be used at all! We believe everyone knows what "those" words are! Use of "those" words WILL lead to boxing or banning!

  • Rude behavior is completely unacceptable! Polite responses are expected. Such comments as VGG, GG, GLNR etc. If you cannot be sociable and polite, please do not enter tournaments! It puts a damper on the fun for the other players. Rudeness can lead to boxing or banning.

  • Do not advertise our league in any games rooms that are not ours. This is strictly against Cases Rules.

    Staff Responsibility

  • Staff members are responsible for having 3 (TDs) or 5 (HTDs and Admin) tournaments on the calendar at all times.

  • Please be on time and ready to host at least 15 minutes before each tournament is scheduled to start. When you are tardy, it hinders the tournament and is unfair to the players and other hosts.

  • Staff members are responsible for knowing Dysfunctional Dragon Rules and Pogo Rules for each game played. If you are unsure of the rules, visit the Staff Resource game rule pages and the How To Play page at Pogo.

  • Dysfunctional Dragon hosts are not allowed to host on any other league.

  • Host applicants must be at least 19 years old.

  • To become a host, players must be active members of Dysfunctional Dragons. Prospective hosts must be active members for at least 14 days before becoming eligible to host. If you submit a TD Application before meeting these requirements, your request will be put on hold or denied until you become eligible.

  • Host responsibility is not limited to these rules and infractions will be dealt with on an individual basis.

  • Please remember, this is your league too. It is what you make it! So, let's all try very hard to make it as much fun as possible!
