Once Tourney Administration page is open, please follow these steps to finish setting up your tour

    1. Open Check-In: Make sure your tourney is open where possible. Check-In can be opened if tour is set for same day or the next day. This saves you from having to ask jumpers to check in and / or having jumpers dropped from tour
    2. Click Edit Tournament Info.: Please enter your IM Service and Address. This gives jumpers a way to contact you if needed
Please Note that in Edit Tournament Info. is where you would also go to change the

    Time (at bottom)
And / Or Game, Room Name and Room Link (if changing tour to a different game)
    3. Customize Tournament Rules: Please copy / paste the rules from game's HTML page, into the large white box. Make sure you have the correct format / funk that you wish to use. This should include the rules to games, table settings, good sportsmanship and device statements.

    5. Customize Tournament Layout: THIS IS STRICTLY OPTIONAL! This is where you would go in and copy / paste the rules (into the larger white box) for them to show on tour's main page. This is also where you go in to decorate your tour page. If you wish to decorate your tour page and do not know how to, just ask your trainer or a fellow host.

    Your tour is now set

  • SPAM TO MEMBERS

  • MOST IMPORTANT! PLEASE make sure that your Members list for IM is kept UPDATED!!
Not just having new members added but members who have withdrawn or purge, removed from your list! This ensures that members who wish to get spam get them, members know about your tours and that you don't spam nonmembers and getting reported for wrongfully spamming.

When making your spam to send out to members, please make sure to include:

    1. A greeting of some kind
    2. Time of tour
    3. Name of Game
    4. Format of tour and any funk playing
    5. Page Address of your tour's main page
    6. Room Name

    Example:
Hi DDZZers! Hope you can come join me
3 AM Pogo Bowl ~ Wake UP! Bowling
    http://www.myleague.com/ddzz/tournament/1234567/
    Pogo Bowl~Slow~50's~Free~Conspiracy Theorists

All but the page address can be found on your tour's main page located on right side of page under the 'Tourney Info' header. Just copy / paste it into your spam. The page address can be found in the navigation toolbar (looks like this www.myleague.com/ddzz/tournament/1234567/)
HANDY TIP: Put yourself in your IM list, that way you can test your spam to yourself or you know your spam is going out.

First tour spams are to be sent out at 30 minutes prior to tour's start time. Please do not send any earlier than 30 minutes before tour as some may jump when they receive the spam and then get busy with other things in life and become no shows.
If you DON'T have enough jumpers at 15 minutes till, please send out another spam. And then again every 5 minutes till you have enough jumpers.
If you DO have enough jumpers at 15 minutes till, then please do a LAST CALL at 5-10 minutes before tour and then no more spamming. LAST CALL should NEVER be made after 5 minutes till, so as to give any new jumpers a chance to jump before you close and start tour on time. If you don't have enough jumpers by 5 minutes after, please spam just one more time. If you do not have enough jumpers by 15 minutes after tour start time, you may move tour AND remove all jumpers from tour. Removing all jumpers is a MUST!

  • SPAM FOR IN LOBBY

  • Please run in lobby, the 3 advertisments wanted, to promote league (at beginning, in middle of 1st and 2nd rounds [or 2nd and 3rd rounds] and an ending). If playing in tour and 3 is not possible, please run the MINIMUM of 2 advertisments. It doesn't have to be exact, use your own words and make it your own, as long as it has the correct league address (www.myleague.com/DDZZ) included:

START OF TOUR please use something like the following:

~~ Hi Room, We are the Dysfunctional Dragons, about to start a tour. TYVM for sharing lobby with us today/tonight. You can check us out at www.myleague.com/DDZZ ~~

MIDDLE please use something like the following:

~~ Hi Room. Again, TYVM for sharing with the Dysfunctional Dragons (or DDZZ) today/tonigh. Come check us out at www.myleague.com/DDZZ. It's fast free and easy to join us in the fun ~~

END OF TOUR please use something like the following:

~~ Again, TYVM for sharing with the Dysfunctional Dragons (or DDZZ) today/tonigh. You can check us out at www.myleague.com/DDZZ. It's fast free and easy to join us in the fun. We hope that you all HAGN ~~

  • JUMPERS

  • JUMPERS FOR 1 vs 1 GAMES: If you HAVE 4 jumpers, IN lobby, please close and start tour ON TIME. DO NOT wait on any missing jumpers. If missing jumpers are not in room by 2nd round, please REMOVE them BEFORE advancing.
Only Exception For Waiting: If you have a 4th jumper (W/O counting yourself) coming to save the tour, give them a reasonable amount of time to enter the room (no more than 5 minutes)
JUMPERS FOR 2 vs 2 GAMES: You need an even number for teams. If you HAVE 8 jumpers (4 teams), IN lobby, please close and start tour ON TIME. If you have an uneven number of jumpers, you may jump or remove yourself, to start on time and no one gets dropped

SUBS are allowed, if available, ONLY in 2 vs 2 games. If no subs are available, give the other half of the team the option to use the BOT as a Partner. If they choose not to use the BOT as a Partner then put the team on a 10 minute timer. Timer is used for their Partner to show or sub to be found or agreeing to Bot, before being disqualified.

  • HOSTING

  • Please be on time for your tournaments. Get into room at LEAST 15 minutes BEFORE your tour is to begin

NEW Host please do not start a tour without your trainer (or if farther into your tours, do not start w/o an HTD/Admin watcher)

Host Badge is to be worn while hosting. Please remember to remove badge after hosting to prevent going into another tour or worse, going into a non-league room (and possibly getting reported), with badge on

Each TD is in charge of their own tour. If you notice some one in lobby needing help and the host may have missed seeing them, please IM host to let them know (at that time, the host may ask for your assistance ...AND hosts, if you get this IM from another host, DO NOT take this personally or think that they are trying to tell you that you aren't doing your job, they are trying to HELP). If you have anything to address that host, please do so per messenger. If you, as a Host, needs help, please ask per messenger also.

As previously stated, when setting a tour, rules to games, table settings, good sportsmanship and device statements are to be located on the rules page (on main tour page is optional). If a member asks for these rules, in the lobby, please refer them to the rule page on your tour. However, you can give a BRIEF overview of these in the lobby, but only ONCE please.

'Quiet Watching' is allowed on tables as long as all players on the table agree. If any player requests no watching, the request must be honored.

When announcing pairs, please use the person's league name not the person's given name. New hosts / members and a lot of older members do not know a person's given name. (We should also gently remind members to give reports using league names)
TOKEN Games: When giving out pairs, please give as league name VS league name.
TABLE Games: When giving out pairs, please give as league name PLEASE (or plz) SET league name

As a Host, you can NOT jump for any of your own TOKEN games UNLESS you are needed to make the 4th jumper so as to start tour on time.
You can NOT jump your LEADER BOARD games (like Bowling, DCR, Lottso) if you have a large tour or tours are running behind.
This is to keep the tour running smoothly because your full attention will be on hosting duties only instead of divided between hosting and playing.
Jumping for your TABLE games is OPTIONAL. These tours are slower, usually taking an average 20-30 minutes. You can still watch lobby and spam lobby between rounds.

Hosts may NEVER register another player. Each Member MUST register for themself Do what you can to help them but do NOT offer to register for them. This eliminates any finger pointing if their account should ever get hacked (and they remember giving you their password before) This is also a cases rule

Once you are trained to be a DDZZ Host, you are, in essence, agreeing that you will host a minimum of 3 tours (TDs) / 5 tours (HTDs and Admin) per week and not host for any other leagues.
If you would prefer to Host for another League, we wish you the best. However, we believe that it is unfair that you have access to our member records which could lead to a conflict of interest.
As a result, you will be removed from DDZZ staff and only eligible to play in our tours as a member.

If you have any suggestions or questions on rule infractions, please contact an Admin.
Potential problems need to be addressed ASAP. It doesn't matter if it's your best friend, family member, etc., ALL must be reported

Excessive violation(s) of either the League Rules or Hosting Guidelines will result in disciplinary action.
Disciplinary action may include Counselling, Retraining, Demotion, Being placed on vacation, or removal from hosting altogether depending upon the severity of the violation(s)

~~ As DDZZ Staff, we WELCOME you to our Hosting Family ~~
